Pregnancy

No symptoms at all?

I've read a load of threads on this but I feel like I still need some reassurance. 6 weeks pregnant or thereabouts. I really have no symptoms. If i hadn't missed my period I wouldn't have a clue. This is my 3rd and I don't remember having so little symptoms ever.
Is anyone in the same boat? So many threads are people feeling so ill so early, and it's such a weird thing as right now I would kill to wake up and be sick..!! The mental anxiety of not believing I'm pregnant is too consuming with no symptoms!!!

@Isit2021yetplease congratulations! I am 5+3 and have no symptoms either, just very mild cramps every now and then but that's really it other than tiredness. I had an early miscarriage in July so I'm so anxious. This will be my second and if I can remember I didn't have any symptoms until exactly 6 weeks with my first!

I had hyperemesis with my first, was admitted to hospital multiple times.
I should be 10 weeks now, occasionally feeling a little sick (am taking meds) but that’s it. Really don’t feel pregnant, getting in my own head and managing to upset myself very easily.
Especially when everyone says i would be just as sick with another.
Fingers crossed for you OP.

You've missed your period, that's a main symptom, so you don't have no symptoms. It's still very early, they'll kick in.

I'm 23 weeks with twins and haven't had ANY symptoms the entire time - no cramping, no sore boobs, no nausea and no sickness. If it wasn't for the massive bump and feeling kicks I wouldn't know I was pregnant

@ivfbeenbusy wow that’s amaZing with twins! That must be so confusing for your head!! Do you know if they’re boys or girls? Wondering if there’s much truth to the less symptoms for boys wives tale but both my others were boys so not sure!

@Isit2021yetplease

My twins are boy/girl. But I've also got an older DD and i didn't have any symptoms with her either (think I was sick once or twice at 14 weeks and that was it and that was after a dodgy bus trip!)

I think a lot of it could be genetic - my mother didn't have any symptoms either apparently.

I've had very little - minor cramps at week 5, little burpy, sore nips from week 7.

My mum was the same across both pregnancies, one of each sex!

Thanks everyone :) I guess you tend to get a lot more posts from people who feel terrible, and relatively few from people saying "hey guys I"m pregnant and I feel great, just letting you know!!" so it seems like everyone is having symptoms, but not necessarily the case!

I have a friend who was 6 months pregnant before she found out. And another friend who had just given birth and was in a ward with someone who had given birth not knowing she was even pregnant! My friend has a very healthy 2 year old. Some people just are lucky I guess

@Isit2021yetplease

I tend to keep my lack of symptoms quiet as I genuinely felt completely normal up until about a month ago when the bump has started to make walking more uncomfortable etc and I felt really bad for everyone else who were sick as a dog from 6 weeks and couldn't get out of bed and throwing up all day every day 🙈

I've had multiple miscarriages and I thought at one time that my lack of symptoms was always connected to subsequently losing the baby and was desperate every time I got pregnant again to have morning sickness as I was convinced it meant a healthy pregnancy! Now I know the two aren't connected at all

Hi,
When I was pregnant with my first. I had the exact same and was completely fine throughout my whole pregnancy. I think I had a sensitive aversion to some smells at some point but that was it.

My friend also had the same; no symptoms at all. Other than a missed period!

I've not really had many at all - I have my 12 week scan on Tuesday and really nervous! The lack of anything does make me wonder if anything is going on so it's nice to know I'm not the only one.

I have two boys and I've never had any symptoms like sickness or sore boobs. Nothing!

I didn't find out until 27 weeks, i had zero symptoms and even no signs when going on big thrill rides or drinking.
I was still wearing my normal clothes till 30 plus weeks, even when I went up a size I went up to an Au8-10

I was exactly the same - my symptoms pretty much dissapeared overnight. I was so worried befor my 12 week scan as i couldn't feel anything. It turns out partly because my placenta was in an anterior position at the front of my stomach (which means it cushions the baby) so you cant feel as much.
Everything was just fine - im 15 weeks now and all great.
Try not to worry im sure it will be fine for you too :)
