Thanks for setting up. I'm 6 weeks and 1 day today and the last couple of days I've had awful nausea starting in the early hours. Planning on an early reassurance scan next week. Hoping everyone is keeping well

@chasingArainbow we are the same time along. I find my nausea happens at night, I woke up at 10pm last night and dry heaved for about 10minutes. Awful Awful heartburn the last few days.

Hi - I'm due at the end of June (5 weeks I think, waiting for a dating scan in a couple of weeks)
Living in Australia, third pregnancy and I'm 41. My youngest is almost 7 so it has been a long time and I'm pretty nervous!
Would love to join the FB group if I can Smile

Hi everyone 👋🏻

My first baby is due 14th June according to doctors, but I know when I ovulated so think I'm actually a week later than that. Have been feeling very tired, very sore boobs and doing pregnancy tests every 5 mins 🤣. Have got a scan in a couple of weeks so hoping to get some reassurance from that. So nice to know I'm not the only one feeling this way!

Marking my place too.
I just got off the phone with my midwife for my Booking Appointment. My maternity ward are running virtual classes, apparently a safe space to ask questions and they’ll run a few specialised sessions too. Plus side of COVID is everyone’s going virtual. First one is tomorrow so I’ll share all my wisdom (if I get any!!!) after the call

Hey just checking in to the new thread. I'm 7+1 today, unfortunately suffering from
HG. Saw baby on early scan at the weekend, hoping the vomiting eases up soon x

Hi everyone! Thanks @bestsquirrelinthewholehole for starting a new thread.
I hope you are all doing ok. The days really seem to be dragging at the moment. Can't wait to feel like myself again instead of this blur of sickness and exhaustion!!

Checking in - I'm 6+6 and still being treated as an outpatient for OHSS. I had a scan at 6+1 and saw a little heartbeat. Have another scan at the fertility clinic on Friday. Booking in with the midwife on 4th November.

I'm currently not sure what I am my dates from lmp indicated I'm 7+4 but when I had my scan it showed little one was younger than that and I am actually 6 +5 so I'm gonna assume my scan dates are more accurate

Just found out this morning I am pregnant. Not quite sunk in yet though. I'm due 27th June, have first midwife call on 13th November. Trying to relax and hope everything goes ok. Congratulations to everyone else! :)

Thanks for the new thread @bestsquirrelinthewholehole

8+4 today. Had my booking appointment on Monday which was face to face. Fairly straightforward, midwife took bloods and urine for screening. Results came back today and all fine. Just waiting to get my letter through in the next week or so for my 12 week scan. As I'm high BMI I've got to have a consultant appt at 28 weeks, but this is routine and won't necessarily stop me from having my birth in MLU unless there are any complications that crop up.

Just waiting for Saturday and our private scan. Nervous and excited at the same time.

Hi! I’m 7 weeks, just going by last period. Is everyone waiting to get their booking date? I called my GP a few weeks back when I got BFP but was told that I had to refer myself to hospital, so went on hosp website, filled in form & got email back saying I will be contacted around week 9, I’m guessing different regions will be doing this differently, anyone else the same?

@Minglejingle83 that's better than me, I self referred, had an email back saying a midwife will be in touch before 11 weeks!! I'm 6+1!! Shock

Has everyone "booked in" with a midwife already? I have moved since I had my last 2 kids, and I used to be able to self refer to a hospital and it was very easy. In my new place I seem to have to go via a GP. I have only just moved so haven't registered yet! All seems a faff. Think I'm going to wait until 6 week scan to check all is ok before doing that as am still freaking out a bit!

Place marking in the new thread 😁 currently exactly 6 weeks according to lmp. Been feeling sicky for the last week and a half but getting more used to it now.

Yeh mine was the same, was told I had to self refer to midwife no earlier than 6 weeks. I did it 6 weeks to the day. It then said if I havent heard after 7 days to call them, so called on day 7 and they got me booked in at the end of my 10th week in the only available appt and made a point of saying that they couldnt see me any later than the 10th week, at which point I wondered what they would have done if I'd been a little less organised and rang them later after that appt had gone as apparently there were none available for ages after that!
I guess they're just really busy, but presumably other people will need appts too so they'll have to supply additional appt times or something?

@bex757 hope the meds work and you are feeling a bit better soon!

I spoke to my GP today as needed to check with her about my medication dose, and she told me off for not booking with the midwife yet! I’m only 5+4 so I was a bit shocked. In my area you have to call a central booking line and then apparently they send an appointment out in the post so I will wait and see what happens next.
