Breast implants in pregnancy and breast feeding

Hi everyone!

This is my 3rd baby (9+5 today) but this will be my first pregnancy since having breast implants almost 5 years ago!

I was told breastfeeding would be fine back when I had the operation.

However, just wondering if anyone has had personal experience with this, pregnancy and change in breast size as I'm worried how huge they may get! ( I am a 32E and a size 8/10 pre pregnancy)
Also more so the breastfeeding.... I really went to initially breastfeed, has anyone found this different or difficult having had implants?

And advice/tips/stories etc welcome!! This is very new to me! ☺️

Did you have over or under the muscle? Think under can cause problems as can lifts and nipple incisions but normal over the muscle should be fine

I've had no problems at all (over muscle muscle)
Bf DS til 10.5 mo and DD 1 year and counting. I've had loads and loads of milk so not hindered me.

Mine hardly grew at all (as in all my bras fitted again after the initial 2 weeks where it comes in as I'm an 8 and 30f/32e and was worried they would be comedy large!

I Did find though there's no pretty large size maternity bras, ended up buying non maternity non wired ones and sewinf clips in myself.

No specific to breast implants, but a note about sizing...

Do you have a wide ribcage compared to the rest of your torso? It would be unusual to be a 32 band if you're usually a size 8/10. Most women that dress size would be a 28/30 band.

Anyway, it's worth checking your size as it changes using boob or bust and then getting some soft stretchy nursing bras (for bigger cup sizes the Sugar Candy and Royce Blossom bras are good).

I used to swim competitively and so I have a fairly broad back, not huge and manly 😂 but slightly bigger!

Thanks everyone for the reply's!

Can’t comment on the breastfeeding side as I’m not there yet but was also told it wouldn’t be a problem.

I can comment on the sizing, mine have gone mahoosive! I was a DD post op and now in third trimester a good F. Sports bra zone only 😊
