Crazy dreams at 17 weeks pregnant!

Morning all,
I've been having some really mental dreams in the last few days. They're always really sinister and leave me waking up anxious with a bit of a tense head! Example.....being hunted by a gunman and carrying my pillow around with me?! Last night it was my back door couldn't close or lock and I was panicking! Soooo strange and it genuinely takes me a wee while to settle when I wake up!

Any other crazy dreams out there? I hope this stops soon and I start dreaming lovely dreams 😂😂

Oh me too! Weirder earlier on in pregnancy for me (21 weeks now) but last week dreamed I was sent on a solo mission to space and was just rattling round a giant spacecraft like in Passengers with no way back (sure this is probably a metaphor!)

It’s not just you Smile I’m 14 weeks and I had a horrible nightmare last night about a murder that I don’t even want to describe. Made a change as most of my dreams recently have been rude! Particular favourite- I woke up very stressed because I had been trying to get my house clean and tidy before Usher came round for a one night stand! I don’t know when I last even heard of Usher!
I blame the hormones

😂😂brilliant! I hope usher appreciated the effort you put in!! @YorkshireGirl35

Sometimes I don't remember mine right away but I just feel really anxious when I wake up! Then as the day goes on I start to remember! I don't often remember dreams when not pregnant! 😆

I was having horrible nightmares about murderers, or sometimes just being hours late for work haha in the early days but it seems to have calmed down now. It was from before I found out until about 6 weeks. I’m 7 weeks now.

They were so bad I would wake up and be scared to go back to sleep!

It's horrible @Cafeaulait27 I am the same I would say most verge on nightmares rather than dreams....although last night I don't remember anything but I'm sure that'll come to me later 😂

Was 2 and a half years ago for me and I still remember my pregnancy dream being chased around a experimental laboratory with people chained up inside.

I’m 16 weeks and have had some awful dreams - being in a terrorist attack, on an exploding treadmill, a friend having a stillbirth, DH dying, having a grenade thrown in a lift with me (that was last night’s)... awful! I had three or four in the same number of nights but they’ve been a bit more sporadic since. Think they correlate with how anxious/stressed I am at the time whether with pregnancy or work. Would love to wake up one of these mornings thinking ‘that was a nice dream’ though 🙈
