I got a positive test 2 weeks ago and am currently 6 weeks with my first pregnancy at 36. I felt slightly nauseous around my missed period and has cramps in week 4/5. However this week nothing. All my signs of pregnancy have disappeared and I feel completely normal.
I have a scan booked for week 8 but im already convinced its going to be bad news. Is it normal to have no symptoms at all at this point? Am I worrying too much.

Every woman and every pregnancy is different. Some people have very clear symptoms, some don't. Symptoms also come and go a lot.

For me, they ramped you at around 7 weeks and calmed down around 12 weeks.

Totally normal every pregnancy is different and you may find yourself not having any symptoms on the other hand you may start to throw up next week. If you think it would help you to feel better maybe bring your scan forwards (assuming it’s a private one at 8 weeks).

I don’t have any obvious symptoms and am also 6 weeks, try not to worry.

I have had trouble sleeping, cramping sometimes and a bloated/full feeling as well as sore nipples occasionally - but none of them are obvious enough to say for sure that it’s because of the pregnancy.

It’s my first pregnancy too and I have pcos. Private scan tomorrow and hoping for good news, will keep you updated on it.

Congratulations @CMAYF11! I was similar, had limited symptoms around week 6, week 7 began this week and nausea has hit me like a train! X

I had no symptoms except some bloating until week 7, when I lost my appetite and sense of taste and started throwing up. Oh, and developed crippling anxiety and depression. All of which lasted until the baby was delivered at 39 weeks.

Maybe make the most of not having any symptoms...

Im 18 weeks with twins and have had zero symptoms - nothing - no nausea no sickness no sore boobs nothing. If it wasn't for the massive bump I wouldn't know I was pregnant

I had more symptoms on the pregnancies which ended in miscarriage

Thank you all so much for your reassurance. I am having fertility treatment and was on Clomid when I conceived so I'm going to the fertility department at my local hospital for the 8 week scan. I guess I'm just looking for a symptom as reassurance I didnt imagine the positive test. Its the only thing I have at the moment to show I'm pregnant.
Congratulations @Cafeaulait27 @elh06

When I first got pregnant I had every single symptom under the sun, but all of them disappeared by 6 weeks within the space of two days. I was very worried, and as I was having pain and a bit of bleeding was convinced I had miscarried. I had a MMC in January as well, and conceived the cycle after so was already anxious. Due to the one sided pain I had a scan at the hospital to rule out ectopic, there was a tiny sac with a tiny blob of a baby and a tiny heartbeat.

Im not sure what happened with my loss of symptoms, perhaps my body just got used to the HCG or I never had very strong levels compared to others.

I'm 30 weeks now and expanding everyday. I hope it's good news for you too!

@CMAYF11 trust me I was just like you. I started feeling nauseous at 3dpo itself!! And bfp on 10 dpo, just after bfp symptoms disappeared.
I had severe morning sickness in previous pregnancy which sadly ended in miscarriage at 20th week.
So without symptoms I thought I wouldn't make it till then this time!!
Luckily yesterday on ultrasound scan I saw my little bean beating and perfectly alright!
I understand how you feeling but be blessed f you have no symptoms pregnancy!!😃😊😇

Hello
I'm 6 weeks yesterday and have no symptoms at all.
My boobs were sore but they have suddenly stopped being sore.
I'm the same as you and conceived on clomid so I have a early scan next week.
I'm worried 😟 as it's my first pregnancy, and everywhere I read it says I should have symptoms too. Any advice from anyone would be much appreciated
Thanks

I had IVF and I think we expect symptoms in a timely fashion Grin

I had scans at six weeks to confirm at the clinic but didn’t have any symptoms till I was about 12 weeks I’d convinced myself it wasn’t growing but it was!

Don’t worry!

I am 16 weeks pregnant and, no exagération, I haven't had one symptom. No sore boobs, no nausea, no tiredness. Before every scan, I completely convinced myself that I had lost it. However, I have started to relax and come to realise that I am just incredibly lucky. However, after speaking to some friends, it's actually quite common too! Don't forget, you only tend to hear when people feel like rubbish. So it's easy to assume that you will feel the same when the time comes.
Just relax and enjoy the time :)

As above, people talk more when they feel crap. No one is going to post "12 weeks in and I feel amazing, like a pregnancy unicorn".

I'm 6+2 and I dont feel much. Occasional pointy nips. Had a wee bit of nausea at week 4. Might ramp up or I just might get super lucky! Apparently only 2/3 pregnant ladies get sick so no sickness isnt that uncommon!
