Hi - I am pregnant hopefully with DC 2. I had three late first trimester miscarriages before my first child was born. These were all MMC so picked up on scans. My experience of the sonographers was mixed with some being downright uncompassionate.
I have a blood clotting disorder which is being treated so this should raise my odds of pregnancy success, but I am also 41 so higher risk, and have been TTC for 18 months.
Anyway, tomorrow I have an early scan at 8 weeks and I am scared. Of getting bad news alone, having to process that and having to tell my DH. I know I shouldn't prejudge the outcome. Given my history I feel this may happen again and it's only pragmatic to be prepared. It's the lack of support in that room that is getting to me.
Not sure what I'm looking for exactly. Any advice on how to hold it all together?
