So I'm midwife led with a consultant opinion due to one of my nieces having microthalmia (one underdeveloped eye) and another having marfans syndrome (both nieces are from my half siblings - different parents for each child) oh and because my ohs mother and sister have elhers danlos..
I have my consultant appointment today, the midwife realised I hadn't been given one at my anomaly scan last week, so booked me in for one. My scan was all fine, no concerns, all midwife checks were good too.
Does anyone know what the consultant will do at this appointment if anything? Is it just going to be a case of look at my notes/scans and tell me whether I can stay midwife led or have to change to consultant led?
I was given no letter or anything, she just wrote it on the back of my notes so no idea what's supposed to happen at this appointment.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me x
