When did your pregnancy nausea end?

I’m 10+4 and have had nausea for the past few weeks. I’ve only been sick twice, but have felt so sick any time I had an empty stomach, especially first thing in the morning... I literally had to eat as soon as I woke up, otherwise would start excess salivating/retching.

Anyway, today I got up and feel absolutely fine, not sick at all... just looking for some reassurance that other people’s sickness got better around this time. I have my first scan next week, and It’s been an anxious wait.

Hello smile I only had severe nausea from 6 weeks to 8 weeks then it really subsided (not feeling 100% but can actually function now)

I was worried but everything looked fine at 10 week scan on Friday!

14/15 weeks

Hyperemisis for 14 weeks. It was so bad that I couldn't bring myself to go through it again. It wasn't morning sickness - it was morning, noon and effing night. After 14 weeks it just stopped, thank god.

Unfortunately, not being a duchess and all that, was left to get on with it while working full time!

First pregnancy never really had it. Second pregnancy threw up regularly (actually more like regurgitated undigested food) until the baby arrived. Sorry!

Thanks guys, good to know that it varies a lot... was just panicking that something was wrong because it had stopped

Hi. About 14/15 weeks here for it to go. I was never sick, but awful nausea from lunchtime onwards. Towards 14 weeks it was later in the day so less time feeling yuck. I am now 30 weeks and the aversion to some foods did carry on. I didn't feel nauseous but was still put off by certain foods. Only now generally I can eat what ever is being cooked. Bolognese is still iffy.

I’m having a c section tomorrow. Hope it goes by then...

Littlegoth Tue 08-Sep-20 12:16:44

It went away completely between 9 and 14 weeks, then raged until 24 weeks. Came back around 34 weeks x

momofasweetboy2018 Tue 08-Sep-20 13:50:36

I had severe morning sickness in between weeks 6 and 11. It was awful, I was unable to eat most of foods and felt nauseas all the time. It get better around week 11, and now I feel slightly nauseas just in the mornings (15 weeks pregnant now). I just hope it doesn't return hmm smile

Babba2801 Tue 08-Sep-20 17:09:49

Mine stopped around 10-11 weeks for a few days then it reappeared until about 15 weeks. I still get sickly now at 20 weeks but only if i let myself get really hungry

Blissfulignorance Tue 08-Sep-20 17:22:01

The day after I gave birth. Was sick from 4- 36 weeks then just nauseous after that, delivered at 40 weeks

allfurcoatnoknickers Tue 08-Sep-20 21:41:21

At week 37. I was nauseous for 30 weeks straight angry

allfurcoatnoknickers Tue 08-Sep-20 21:47:02

At 37 weeks. I had crippling nausea for 30 weeks straight and then it just vanished. DS was fine grin.

babybgonboard Tue 08-Sep-20 22:08:58

I was bed bound with sickness until 22 weeks 🙈 I’m 34 weeks now and feel fine apart from occasional nausea.

It really is an individual thing sadly! But I hope you feel better soon x

CherryPavlova Tue 08-Sep-20 22:16:26

I vomited several times in each labour, then after delivery didn’t feel sick for first time in 43/43 weeks.

LynetteScavo Tue 08-Sep-20 22:34:02

The moment I gave birth.

mumsofboys Tue 08-Sep-20 22:36:12

Give it a few days until you have a hormone surge. 🤪

DramaAlpaca Tue 08-Sep-20 22:37:28

It completely stopped at around 20 weeks in all my pregnancies.

babyname8993 Tue 08-Sep-20 22:55:35

Started at 7 weeks finished at 7+6. The following week I had the worst heartburn from hell but that only lasted a week. I've not had any other symptoms since.

Hopefulhen Tue 08-Sep-20 22:59:18

I think it eased at 14 weeks, was virtually gone by 18 weeks and by 28 weeks I could brush my back teeth without gagging.
