Currently 34 weeks pregnant and with birth on my mind just wondering when other mums went into labour with their first?

I have a feeling baby will be early but not sure if that’s just my wishful thinking 😂🙈

39 + 1 for my DD. Going by 12 week ultrasound, she came on her due date, but by LMP and ovulation, 39 + 1.

Notapheasantplucker Tue 08-Sep-20 01:39:04

He was born 30mins before I was booked in to be induced!

osnapitzchloe Tue 08-Sep-20 02:08:19

40 +4. Had my stretch and sweep and he was born 12 hours later.

DeRigueurMortis Tue 08-Sep-20 02:26:45

37 weeks.

Short labour - waters broke at around 6am was in hospital by 9am and baby born just after midday.

I was at work the day before feeling fine grin.

Baby was on the smaller side (just over 6 1/2 pounds) but healthy and by 4pm we were back home.

Russell19 Tue 08-Sep-20 06:26:24

38 weeks and my waters broke first but Labour was very long. Over 40 hours!

Roselilly36 Tue 08-Sep-20 06:32:18

My first DS arrived safely the day before he was due after a 10hr Labour. Good luck OP & congratulations.

40+4 after a good sweep smile

Toffee86 Tue 08-Sep-20 07:46:49

40+2 but by going by LMP/date of conception, I would say 40 on the nose!

mummy2myJJ Tue 08-Sep-20 08:57:16

Mine came on his due date, labour started at 6am and he was here at 13:51 a very chunky healthy baby at 9lb x

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese Tue 08-Sep-20 09:02:14

He arrived bang on 37 weeks.
However I'd been having contractions (noted as braxton hicks because I was managing and they didn't settle into rythmn) for 3 days. They only started on the 'expected' 3 in 10 minutes about an hour before I arrived at the mat unit and he came 20 minutes later.
I was adament he would be late because DH has the worst time management skills 😂

39+6, and she was born on her due date

Frazzlerock Tue 08-Sep-20 09:10:27

At 41+4 my waters finally broke but no contractions at all, so I had to be induced (which I was due to have done the following day anyway).

18 hours later and, after ventouse, forceps and then an EMCS, all 9lb 12 of him was born.

MsSquiz Tue 08-Sep-20 09:11:40

Labour started: 39+5
DD arrived: 39+6

I was due to go in for a sweep on my due date but DD beat us to it

LunaHardy Tue 08-Sep-20 09:34:51

40+6 after a stretch and sweep! Born 41 weeks.

unmarkedbythat Tue 08-Sep-20 09:36:49

I was induced. Had pessary at lunchtime-ish when I was 42 weeks, went into labour around 2.30am the next morning and he was born just before 5.15. I don't know any women in my family who haven't gone significantly past the EDD with their first!

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea Tue 08-Sep-20 09:49:05

T+15 dc1 was born. Spontaneous labour.

IlanaWexler Tue 08-Sep-20 10:02:42

Didn't. I developed severe pre-eclampsia at 36 weeks and had an EMCS.
