hi im confused just found out in pregnant and I don't know what to do. I already had 2 children one is 6 and one is 5. Both at school. I really don't know what to do. Keeping the baby means I would have to start again. Any mummies out there that have been in my situation or even going through my situation ? Any advice would be greatfull.

Hello
Congratulations Thanks
I've not been through this but a good friend of mine did a coupe of years ago. She had a 5yr old and 2yr old at the time.
She was totally reeling and panicking. In the end she and her husband agreed to terminate but then she couldn't go through with it. They now have a 3rd child who is 2 now and they are both besotted with him. Life is hectic and busy but their family of 5 is happy and complete and it has all worked out and they wouldn't change it.
Whatever you decide to do is the right thing for you. It must be very scary if you haven't planned this but you will be ok xxx

I have 2 children, 10 and 3 and I was done however I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with surprise no3. It was a massive shock after having to have fertility treatment to have DS and suffering multiple losses between #1 and #2.
It was a shocker but I knew I was having this baby, yes it meant starting again. We didn't have a single baby item but we've sorted it. We dont have the extra space but we'll make it work, we always do. I've had to put my degree on hold for a year but that's ok too. I'm not sure I'm ready for sleepless nights again though 😁.
I was ready for having some life back as DS is getting older and more independent and was on the verge of going back to work full time (I was part time) to boost household finances and give us a little more luxury but that wont happen for now.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this baby fits into our family and the bond my other children will have with him. I wonder if hes a blessing in disguise, he was truly meant to be.

I have 2 children. On age 6 and one 5 this month.. so both at school.
I found out I was pregnant in feb which was a surprise as we hadn't really spoken if we would have anymore. But after a few weeks i eventually loved the thought of having a small baby at home. And this time it would be extra nice spending time alone, as with my 5 year old I also had his brother at home too!
Unfortunately I had a MC in March, but recently pregnant again at 14 weeks!
I know it's going back into the nappies, bottles, and a whole "first baby" situation but honestly I can't wait 😀 and I'm sure when we tell the others they'll be really helpful and caring! What ever you decide make sure It's the best choice for yourself xx

Hi @Pinklou32 No advice but I am in a similar situation and have felt the same. I have a 7 year old and 8 year old and am currently 10 weeks pregnant with my new partner. It's scary to think about going back to sleepless nights and I feel like o have forgotten everything! Like I say, no advice but it's reassuring to hear that others are in the same situation

I have a 9 year age gap between DD and this baby (20 weeks pregnant) had to buy everything again and it’ll be like having a first one all over again, but my DD is so excited and she’s old enough to help out.

Dd was born a couple of weeks after ds's 6th birthday. She absolutely adores him, shes constantly giggling at him and now shes 9mo, hes enjoying playing with her. Both have been really good sleepers for the most part but we like the gap. Congratulations!!

My little boy is 8, I'm 9 weeks pregnant now, although it is a new partner (his first). And yep feel like I've forgotten everything about new babies, but I can't wait.

My youngest is 13. Yes, 13! I was just getting some child free time and then pregnant again. Very happy though, just a super massive age gap

Op I feel for you. I'm pregnant with my 2nd. I did think I wanted a 2nd but now I'm pregnant I'm. Remembering all the baby stuff I'll have to go through again. I feel like I've just got my life back and I'm really questioning why I ever thought this was a good idea. I'm having a terrible pregnancy which doesn't help. I'd lie if said termination hadn't crossed my mind.

Think about what you want and whatever decision you make will be right.
