Bigger mums and bumps

I was just wondering when those that didn’t have flat-ish stomachs/carrying extra weight around the middle starting showing.

I personally can’t work out if it’s a bump or just my fat 😂 a lot of my clothes are generally quite loose and being overweight I’ve always attempted to hide my stomach in photos etc so it’s really hard to tell now if this is how my stomach has always looked or if I finally have a bump forming!

I had a BMI of 31 when I was pregnant. Looking back at photos I think it started looking like an unmistakable baby bump when I was about 22/23 weeks, so definitely later than it might have been for someone thinner. I had a lovely bump by the end though, I miss it! Smile

Start taking weekly bump photos, I didn't think I had a bump until I started looking back over the weeks. At 27 weeks my bump is very visible now, even under my baggy tops.

Is it now a round bump? I had a starting bmi of 31 however wasn't large around my middle but I have no round bump. It's more a b bump so just look very fat, I have no clue where baby is either laying either. This can't be normal surely

I’m a size 16 and 9 weeks... I know it’s probably bloating but I’ve been taking a picture each week and it is definitely getting bigger! I googled and Apparently if you have a short torso (I do and am 5’3) Then you can show earlier as your uterus can’t grow upwards, it has to go outwards? X

I wore size 14/16 pre-baby but had definite extra weight around my middle courtesy of DD1. I was really worried I wouldn’t get a nice bump this time.

I started getting a noticeable bump at around 18 weeks. By 21 weeks, it was a rounded baby bump.

Hello lovely ladies!

Plus size mama to be here too. Size 16-18 at conception and doing my very best to be healthy with food and exercise to not put on any unnecessary weight that isn't baby growth.

I'm only 9+6 so no bump yet, haha. Definitely worried about risks too. My SIL is bigger than me and she went on to have two healthy babies, so I'm remaining hopeful.
