Any guesses of sex going by the nub theory?

gg the little nub but at the bottom has two bits to it, one in top of the other. It's called stacking and is present with boy nubs

Wow, sorry for hijacking this! I had no idea there was a theory from looking at these photos.

How can you tell, and has anyone got a girl picture so we can compare side by side? Apparantly you can tell from looking at the skull too?

Hi, if I'm totally honest I have no idea how the nub theory works or what I'm looking for 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 I think it's something to do with the bumpy bit at the rump of the baby.

I've heard if the skull is more boxed then it's likely boy and if skull is more rounded then girl 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 again though not 100% sure haha.

@kittenpeak this is my girl scan if you want a comparison (confirmed at 16 and 20 week scans), nub is parallel to spine and no stacking, this is from scan at 12w+6, apparently the nub can still rise if the scan is before 12w so if you look at a boy pic slightly before it might look like a girl but it's just not risen yet, hope that helps 😊 although it's often not obvious so it's a bit of a guessing game!

I have another here that looks like there is no nub 😂 just watched a video from my scan and it definitely looks like the stacking is actually part of its leg 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 or does that sound stupid?
