Hi, I am ten weeks pregnant and this is my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at six weeks in 2018. I've struggled getting pregnant until now.

I keep bringing up brown and pink discharge constantly with tiny black clots; it's been going on since last week (only when I wipe it doesn't come out much) and the Thursday it was bright red after I'd had an orgasm. Phoned the GP on Friday to be told they think brown is good and not to worry but I cannot get an early pregnancy scan as it'll be on top of my 12 week scan in early September. I feel like this is gonna end in another miscarriage. I'm getting uterus cramps a lot as well which the GP thinks it stretching. It's on and off the cramps and usually low down.

Before I got pregnant I was told I may have endometriosis and was supposed to have had keyhole surgery until the pandemic cancelled my appointments and now I don't know how bad it is.

Is this normal to have the constant discharge? I keep reading you can bleed and have a normal pregnancy and I'm not in severe pain but it's nagging at me. Especially since I can't get much medical help. My midwife isn't responding either. My last pregnancy ended after a week of bleeding and it scares me.

Hi @Namepoc I am currently 7 weeks and have been having brown discharge in the mornings for the past two weeks.

I did have an early scan because of this at 5+6 and all seemed to be as expected but I won't know for sure until the follow up scan at 7+6 as it was too early to see much but they did say that there was no bleed that they could see.

I'm am wondering if I have cervical ectropion/erosion as the symptoms seem to match but am also worried about a mmc.

I think lots of women experience bleeding in early pregnancy and it does go on to be absolutely fine though and I've read loads of stories on here that worked out well so I'm really hoping that's the case for me, it's so scary not knowing though isn't it.

Fingers crossed it all works out well for both of us.

Thanks @Csari mine is happening all day and doesn't stop. Calms at times but I get the impression it is going to get worse instead of better like last time. Confused I hope we both pull through but it's hard feeling hopeful and not stressing.

Just an update, had an early scan. No baby in sac so it's a miscarriage. Maybe I'll get lucky on a third attempt later. Sad

@Namepoc I had a miscarriage in June, it’s really hard but you will come to terms with it. I’m currently 5 weeks 4 days pregnant. Hoping this one sticks 🤞🏻 X

@Lollol86 Good luck with your pregnancy, my fingers are crossed for you. It may take me another year or two again to get pregnant but I need to sort my health out first before I try again.
