Hey all! So I officially got my BFP last night, which puts me at 3weeks 3 days (I have another app telling me I'm at 4weeks 4 days) and I am due between 2nd and 8th May ❤️ I already feel super nauseous, and this will be baby number 3 (our last for sure). I was just wondering if anyone on here wanted to share this journey together - husband is brilliant but doesn't believe you can get nausea this quickly and I'm not close enough to my family to tell them just yet ☹️ so it might be a lonely journey for a little while x

Hi @MummyFD Congratulations! Sorry your not feeling great.

I have just had my BFP. First pregnancy.
I'm a bit miffed to be honest as I was so sure it wouldn't happen. We won't be telling anyone for a while either so would love someone to share the journey. X

@Dolly031 congratulations! It's amazing when it happens so quickly - this is the first month that my husband and I actually tried and to get a positive so quickly is quite overwhelming.
It can feel a bit of a shock to the system and makes you unsure of what to do! How many weeks are you, how are you feeling?for me it's dizziness and I'm grumpy 😂 x

Congratulations @MummyFD!

I found out last week at 3weeks 2 days and I think time has stopped! I'm technically due end of April but everyone on the April boards is way ahead of me. I'm 4+3 so very, very early days!

Dolly031 · 20/08/2020 13:27

Congratulations @leaferty! Is this your first?

Feeling pretty good at the moment. I had afew moments of bursting into tears at songs which was my first sign I should do a test. I'm also generally agitated by everyone...but to be fair I don't think I can blame that one on pregnancy 🤣

Have you found anything to help the dizziness @MummyFD? Make sure your drinking plenty in case it's linked to low BP 😘 x

It's my second @Dolly031

My first we conceived on our first try and it was such a shock! This one has taken longer and it was still a shock to actually get a positive test.

I'm so worried it won't stick but desperately hoping it does.

@leaferty I'm end of April too and wasn't sure which board to go on as it seems like I'm straddling the gap! How're you getting on? I've no symptoms at all so far so all feels a bit surreal!!

leaferty · 20/08/2020 14:50

Ahhh it's a strange one isn't it!

I tested because I was having very strange hot flushes, but that's gone away now. Had a few waves of nausea and cramps a couple of days ago but nothing much now! I'd quite like some symptoms to reassure me it's still happening but I didn't get sickness and nausea until about 7-8 weeks with my first so I'm not expecting that for a while yet.

OneStepOneStumble · 20/08/2020 15:33

It's my first so all I can go off is the symptoms I see people talk about on here! But if it hadn't been for my period I'd have no clue! Crossing fingers we're both hanging in there ☺️

@leaferty congratulations! How are you feeling about a second baby? It's all a little bit different the second time around for sure. I wouldn't worry about a test taking a while to come up positive! A line is a line ❤️
@OneStepOneStumble Awh congratulations on your first pregnancy! You're so lucky to not have to many symptoms, although I'm sure you'd find them reassuring - the thrill wears off quickly 😂 apparently some ladies don't even get morning sickness! Hope you're one of the lucky ones xx

I'm very happy, we had been trying a few months so it's a relief that it's happening. I'm just very apprehensive about whether this pregnancy will progress though.

I'm also a little nervous about going back to newborn days - it was such a shock first time around. It will be so much harder having to be up and about with the toddler!

Sorry forgot to tag you @MummyFD

I cannot concentrate on work at all today! Baby on the brain!

That's exactly what I've been saying @leaferty. Every time me and my partner talk about our BFP I feel the need to remind him "it might not stay". It just doesn't feel real either. I have so many emotions I wasn't expecting. Obviously I'm thrilled but I'm also alittle freaked out about the whole thing. I'm hoping this is normal? Have you all told your GP yet?

I hope your all keeping well. Xx

Hi ladies, I'm 4+6 and due 25th April, but like others have said the April lot are well ahead of me with their dates so I thought I'd join here! 2nd baby, 2nd pregnancy. My DD is 3. I'd only just come off the pill so it's a bit of a shock tbh but a lovely one. So glad DD will have a sibling but nervous about going back to the sleepless nights! Very early days so I'm also worried as to whether this will stick. I've been so lucky having one previous healthy pregnancy and a healthy DD that I'm almost convinced something will go wrong. So many of my friends have had miscarriages. Sorry, brain dump! Nothing I can do but hope and wait.

Hi all,
I'm currently 4-5 weeks...not sure on dates as have pcos and long cycles! Like many of you have said, I'm also quite shocked to find I'm expecting on our first month ttc. I had been advised that we would likely need fertility treatment so had set ourselves up for a long haul! We are just so thrilled but definitely finding myself very anxious.
So far symptom wise I have been experiencing a lot of mild af like cramps...lasting for very long periods. Also have had night sweats and feeling very hot at times! No nausea or sore boobs as of yet! Am booked in for an early ultrasound in 11 days so counting down! Has anyone else been having cramping??

Hey ladies!

Mine is due to 28th of april so I think this is kinda my thread. 4w3d right now. First baby, TTC for more than a year, so you guys can imagine my thoughts right now, anxiety, fear, etc.
Not much symptoms so far, just bigger and sore boobs, specially the nipples, feeling veery tired by the afternoons, but most of all, I feel like a core, a hard little ball the left side, by the end of my belly, sometimes it burns, so I’m terrified thinking on a possible ectopic... any of you feel the same?

Hi All! So got my BFP on Thursday. Slightly surprised after it only being our second month of actually trying! I’m quite anxious in that I hope this sticks- my mum had two miscarriages before she had me and I was a premie! Anyway I’m trying to work out when my 12 week mark would be? My app says I’m due 3/5/2021. Feels surreal even saying it! Thanks all.

OneStepOneStumble · 22/08/2020 20:26

@FxBB2020 I've had a wee bit of cramping but nothing severe. Of course I've been googling it like mad and praying it's normal anyway
@Rockabye3 I'm not a dr but I don't think you'd be able to feel ectopic from outside?? Maybe go and get it checked out though, would be better for piece of mind.
@Dolly89 congrats! I'm still a bit dubious I'm even pregnant cos it all feels too surreal at this point 😂 crossing fingers all goes well ☺️

@OneStepOneStumble yeah you actually got a point, spent the evening researching about it and maybe I’m feeling the corpus luteum, which stays in one side, over the ovary and releases progesterone...I hope with all my energy that this is all about my burning feeling, scan will be scheduled to prob second week of september so, I’m all about anxiety.
Saw that this is your first too, any symptoms yet?

Hi everyone, please can I join in!
I’ve been following the TTC pages for a while but hadn’t plucked up the courage to join in!
I got my BFP yesterday after 5 months of trying Grin We aren’t planning on telling anyone for a little while, so would be lovely for some support.
It’s early days for me, I’ve had some slight cramping and I’ve been quite thirsty. This is my first time, what are my next steps...total novice!!

OneStepOneStumble · 22/08/2020 21:44

@Rockabye3 I've had a bit of cramping and some spotting which is a bit worrying and been super thirsty and tired. But nothing else really yet.

@Sunshine92 congrats 🥳 I'd love to give advice but I'm a total novice too with no idea 😂 I filled in a self referral for the local maternity services but I don't know how long to expect before they call me

I've had two faint line positives plus a digital that had a positive strip but digital bit said negative. Playing the waiting game for a few days to test again. My period has officially not started, I've been more tired than usual and needing the bathroom more, so I'm quietly hopeful. Been TTC since April but it's been hard with having to postpone the wedding and h2b having been away for work and soon being away for a few months again x
