Third baby surprise - eek!

Hi everyone,
My husband and I have two wonderful children (5, 3). A boy and girl. We always said we would only ever have a third child if our financial circumstances improved and we could get some help (grandparents not able to help as vulnerable or live too far). Well, the coronavirus happened, and we are certainly not in a better financial place, however I find myself pregnant with third baby. Early days of course, but looking for reassurance on whether we are mad to be having a new baby when life was just fine as was, and we were finally getting some sleep and feeling like we had our lives back. And I'm 39, which is not exactly young...(and will be a high-risk pregnancy aside from age).
I felt so excited with the first two as we'd planned them exactly. And now I feel mainly stressed, and sick!
Thanks for listening

I also had a surprise 3rd!! My older two were 13 and 10!! Shes the apple of my eye, and wouldn't change it for anything!! But yes, it was a shock, totally unplanned, I had to start again with prams, cots etc. I was 38 when she was born, and besides a Edward's syndrome scare at 22 weeks had a fantastic pregnancy. Congratulations.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my new year surprise baby. We had no intention of having a 3rd but he was meant to be. We had to start from scratch with everything but we're ready for him and I'm sure he'll slip nicely into the household. I've been made redundant but we will make it work, we always do.
Congratulations Flowers
