👋🏼 I don’t get notifications for some reason but spotted this on the chat page ☺️ Still no 12 week scan date for me! Hoping they’ll call tomorrow or a letter will just land on the door mat - I remember last pregnancy they said they’d ring and I got a letter with a date instead so anticipating it might happen again... I’m very impatient though, I just want a date to work towards!

@bubblybon20 Fingers crossed! My booking appt was last Wed and the nice midwife said he’ll put a note on that I should get my scan as close to 12 weeks as possible so based on all of that it should come through soon (based on LMP I’m 10+1 today but based on both scans I’m 10 exactly) 🤞🏼 I’m just one of those people that wants everything done yesterday, it’s a very bad trait to have during pregnancy 😂

Hi ladies! Sorry I haven't posted in the other thread for a while... i missed a few posts and keep meaning to read everything properly so I can reply to everyone properly but I haven't done it... just been lurking! I hope you're all OK.

@SkyBlue20 I'm so glad you had a successful scan- how exciting!!

I'm so nervous for my 12 week scan. This time next week I will know whether or not we made it through the first trimester successfully 🙏🤞🤢 so nervous about being on my own! I think my husband is going to drive me there so at least I know he will be waiting in the car!

@bubblybon20 Yep, that's me all over 😂 I'm just a planner by nature and hate not being in control of stuff, so you can imagine how pregnancy is for me 😂

@DanceM1 Thank you! Great idea having your DH in the car - you'll want to be with each other whether it's good or bad news, so makes sense having him as close as possible. My DH does the same - sometimes he brings his laptop and gets on with his work while he's waiting (between the MMC and this pregnancy, there's been a lot of waiting in carparks!) I have everything crossed for you - not long until you make it past that 12 week mark and hopefully you can relax a little bit more. I'm counting down the days for all of us - we're almost there!

@DanceM1 I can totally understand your nerves. Since I recieved my scan date through it's made me a little edgy! 😫 it's the next biggest thing making it to 3 months! Nearly 1/3 of the way there, madness!! 😱
Makes me sad to think DH can't come, his taking DS for his first day of school that day so my mum is coming with me, obviously just staying in the car tho! Think it just makes me so sad to think that if something has gone wrong il have to deal with that news on my own until I see my mum or DH. 🙁 but 🤞🏻 we will all be fine!!!

@SkyBlue20 @bubblybon20 thank you both. I know you guys understand better than anyone! I even nearly booked a private scan for this weekend just so I could (please god) have a little reassurance with my husband before going on my own on Monday. However, I decided against it.. think I may end up a little addicted to scans ha! I've had 8 weeks, 10 weeks and monday I should be 12 weeks and 1 day so I think thats regular enough. Lets just hope we all have good news like @Sakura54 💕🙏🤞

Exciting that you have your scan date, @ew1990! They’re coming in thick and fast now! It does feel like we’ve been pregnant for AGES but also like we started on our pregnancy threads about two days ago and now we’re here! It’ll be March before we know it 😬 I do find it crazy that had my first pregnancy stuck, I’d have been six and a bit weeks away from my due date, that time has gone so quickly - I really can’t imagine being that heavily pregnant and close to having a baby now!

@DanceM1 I’m sure all will be ok and if it isn’t, your husband won’t be far away. You CAN do this 💪🏼 I think we’ve all proven that we’re stronger than we realise with everything we’ve been through 💕

@SkyBlue20 I could have written your last post! I also would have had a baby in October and it also feels like I’ve been pregnant forever, but at the same time just got my BFP lol.

This my first time on here and I wanted to share my story with some great mother's. I have one child my son, who is 19 now. And I've been trying to get pregnant for a while now. I've had three mmc, and I'm now 6w4d pregnant. I am so scared of losing my baby again. Just wanted to talk to you guys.

@SkyBlue20 @bubblybon20 my husband told me to book a scan for this weekend today because I'm driving him insane worrying. I don't think I will though... would mean scans 2 days in a row. Its tempting though!

I'm with you on feeling like you've been pregnant forever... i would have been due at the start of November. It is crazy to think how big I would be now! @Sakura54

Hello @MsHayes and congratulations on your pregnancy! We can 100% all share your worries. I never stop..Im driving myself insane never mind my husband. Welcome, @MsHayes and congrats on your pregnancy. As @DanceM1 said, you should definitely join our other thread - it's a bit more active and we're always talking about our worries and anxieties in pregnancy after loss. We have people ranging from about 4 weeks pregnant to about 13 weeks, so mainly first trimester - might be a good place to come talk through your worries, we're a nice bunch, I promise:

@DanceM1 Do whatever you feel you need in terms of scans - if you don't want to book one then can you just make sure you have a really busy weekend, so it goes by quickly? My weekend last week waiting for the Sunday night scan dragged as I hadn't made any plans whatsoever other than cleaning the house (yawn).

@SkyBlue20 Haha cleaning the house doesn't sound the most exciting! Actually we do have a few things planned for this weekend so I'm not going to book a scan and just try to distract myself as much as possible! This is the longest week of my life 🙈🙈
