Hey ladies.
I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) in my early twenties, I’m now 32I’ve been with my partner for 6 years nearly and we never use contraception as we are firm believers that if it’s supposed to happen it will.
Well we were pretty shocked in March when I tested and got a faint line. I only tested cause I was having the weirdest cramps, and my friend told me too, I had no other symptoms. According to dates I was 7 weeks, and two days later I miscarried.
It was deflating, but we took it as a positive. I got pregnant and we would try again next year.
We decided to start using protection and then on the 26th July we totally forgot!
Over two weeks I started feeling strange. So I took a test and could swear I could see a line. I also had sore boobs, fatigue, tummy twinges, very slight nausea and food aversions.
A few days later last Thursday I started spotting, naturally I was worried, I went to the EPU who said they could not find any hcg in my blood and the scan showed nothing.
Then the nurse went through all my dates and symptoms and said, although I don’t want to get your hopes up, it could have been too early as with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) is very common to ovulate late. And just as she said that I remember having the egg white discharge (my sign ovulation is coming) a few days longer than I normally do.
My spotting stopped after 48 hours and I know you should wait before testing But on Monday I tested with a sainsburys test and a got a faint positive which I posted on another thread to make sure I wasn’t going crazy.
However I’ve done a really cheap one today and I can barely see it but it’s there. I am waiting on my first response to come today. I’ve also had the pulling and twinges, very sensitive tingly boobs. And today I had some milky discharge.
So I guess long story short, if you have been pregnant with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) when did you start Getting your BFP (big fat positive (pregnancy test)) and when did they get darker.
I am making appointment as I know I need to but I really want a darker line to conceive myself I know that sounds stupid.
From what I’ve worked out I’m around 4 weeks, and last time I was around 6/7 and still only getting faints.
Any of your stories would be much appreciated and I’ll post an update later when my tests arrive as I’ve heard first response are really sensitive tests.
