Pregnancy test

I have taken two pregnancy tests, I can see faint line and my partner cannot. I have taken the test strip out the plastic and there’s a quite obvious line.

It’s a tescos Brand test. Has anyone else used theres, are they reliable. I’m 22 years old and not ready for a baby so am panicking. Took it due to a late period.

I used Tesco's branded ones and have found them reliable

Ohhh they’re very faint lines, how can you tell the difference between Evap lines and positive line

Please can someone understand this. I missed my period on the 30th July 2020 I done a clear blue week indicator on the first day of missed period it said 1-2 done another test 2 days later it went up to 2-3 then another test 6 days later it went up to 3+. It seems my hcg levels are going up a bit to quick plus I feel really really sick and belly is very blotted? I’ve 6 children already but yet never experienced this with a clear blue week indicator. Could this mean twins

@Lcj1231 apparently evap lines are grey and have no colour to them, positive lines will still be pink or blue even if faint.
Out of interest was it a blue or a pink dye test as apparently pink ones are more reliable?

It was a blue dye, oh I’m so worried now.

@Lcj1231 OK, so I would buy a first response test, they are the ones that have the highest sensitivity to the pregnancy hormone. I think that will give you a definite answer. And try and do it in the morning or when you've held a wee for a good few hours. Please don't panic yet until you know for sure, there's options.

@biscuit13 I’ve taken three and they’re all the same result, I will wait a week I think and try again. Hopefully by then if I am pregnant the HCG level will be higher x

@Lcj1231 ah OK, yeah its probably unlikely you get 3 false results.
Even a 2-3 days will be enough to give a clearer result.
I hope youre ok. Have you talked with your partner about what you will do if you are pregnant?

@mumztheword you might be better off starting a new thread so your post is the focus of people's attention :)

@Lcj1231 hm that is really strange, by now a test should be clearly showing youre pregnant if you are. But being 2 weeks late is odd. It might just be where you are worrying about it. I sometimes would miss a period altogether, take loads of tests that were negative and couldn't understand why but it was just one of those strange things. :/ maybe book in with the doctor?

@biscuit13 I’m not really that worried or stressed now, I’ve kind of accepted it is what it is! I’m normally dead on time, no matter what’s happening in my life! I’ve got a doctors appointment next week
