@@bubblybon20 I used to get really bad migraines with DD they were that painful they used.to make me sick. The only thing that helped was lying down in a dark room but I know that's hard when you've got children.

Well I finally had a call about my booking appointment. Thursday morning and it's a face to face one which is nice.

I can't ever remembering them with the boys, this pregnancy just feels so so different! I will defo try that out though when DH is home! Thankyou :)

Really glad you've got your appointment, and even better that it's face to face, I find the phone calls quite patronising, not sure if that's just me though 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

@bubblybon20 i think its because you can't see facial expressions etc when people are talking.

Oh I heard a while ago if you put a peg in the skin between your thumb and forefinger that can relieve migraines. I'm sure Google can explain better but it's worth a try 😂😂

Thanks for setting up the thread, @Sakura54! I wonder how many of these we'll get through - a lot, I imagine/hope! I'll hopefully get my scan date through next week - think I received it about a week after my booking in appt last time 🤞🏼 I do have my 10 week private scan to look forward to (/be super nervous about) this weekend though ☺️

@ew1990 So glad you got your booking appt finally and that it's in person.

@wishful30 (in response to your post on the last thread) I think a few of us have all said we just knew something was wrong during our MMCs. Call it a motherly instinct. I'm glad you stood your ground and got the scan - sometimes you really just have to advocate for yourself.

Hi ladies! Thank you @Sakura54 for setting up the new thread and thank you everybody for the lovely comments about my scan. Ive actually had a couple of days of being excited and thinking about which room we would use for a nursery etc. Its lovely to be feeling that way... i just have to stop myself from feeling like I'm jinxing things and try and enjoy it a bit I think.

@bubblybon20 I've had some headaches recently, i don't think the weather helps. I hope you're ok!

@SkyBlue20 exciting that you have a scan this weekend!!

@SkyBlue20 Im sure your scan will be fine, Hard not to be nervous tho! Plus at 10 weeks, kind of makes you feel less anxious and your so close to that 12 week mark! Exciting though!! 😀😀

@DanceM1 Yeah the weather is awful, I'm more of a winter person!🤣

How soon after the 12 week scan will anyone buy anything?

@bubblybon20 haha I love this weather usually but I must admit, since being pregnant I'm struggling to cope with the heat. Dont want to complain though!
I'm a bit paranoid (I'm sure you've worked that out by now) so I can't imagine myself buying anything for a good while even if I have a successful 12 week scan. You should go for it though! 🤣 do as I say, not as I do!

@DanceM1 tbh I brought something with the boys after the 12 week scans, but obviously this time it feels so different, think that's down to the MC. So I think il actually hold off until the gender scan at 16 weeks. Least then it feels a little bit further! 🤣🤣🤣

Well... curiosity got the best of me. I know you're supposed to test in the mornings but I got a clear positive Sunday morning.
So you'd think a 4day early test would pick up the hormone now....

I'll test again in the morning but I guess this is another chemical and I'll be expecting af to make a late appearance 😐

Haven't posted much recently I'm super anxious as now in 9th week and that's when last MMC happened, just want to get through the next 3 weeks, I'm dreading the scan on my own the last scan I had was when I was told there was no heartbeat so that's playing on my mind all the time at the minute xx

I’m like you @DanceM1 I refuse to jinx things/tempt fate by even thinking beyond a week ahead at the moment - really hope that will change in time if I get a positive scan but it’s so far off still!

@Wishful30 Did you use that same type of test when you got a positive a couple of days ago? I’d have thought with this heat you might be drinking too much water for much to show up! Fingers crossed for the morning 🤞

@Dipsy77 are you going to have an early scan? Sorry if you've already posted about that. I felt so sick with fear during the week when it happened last time but you will get through it. Im still anxious all the time now but its a little easier after 2 private scans.

@poppy10121 I get that completely. My mum was saying to me yesterday, its OK to let yourself be excited. Im trying hard to find a good balance at the moment. Its still such early days!

Fortunately no, I didn't.
My clear blue monitor asked me to test Sunday morning which was my first positive.
I used a cheap clear blue simple test Monday which was positive and a cheapo 4days early Asda test tonight so all I can do is see if my monitor will let me test again in the morning. 🤞🏻

Had my scan nearly 10 days ago, and all ready feel on edge somethings gone wrong in those days 🤦🏻‍♀️ actually driving myself mad 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈 plus with no date for my 12 weeks yet, really isn't helping 😫

@bubblybon20 mine was 5 days ago and I feel the same. 😂 I was just starting to relax and then I had that bleeding. I honestly can't wait until we've all had our 12 week scans.

I know I've never met you ladies but Im honestly rooting for you all so much! We so deserve this ❤

@ew1990 haha glad I'm not alone! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 probably reassured me for 2-3 days max! But now I just feel how I did before the scan, and these 2 weeks feel really slow! 🤣 and yeah I can imagine that made it really harder for you, but so glad your spotting didn't continue, so must have been minor whatever it was from!

And haha, it's weird isn't it, how we all kind of click, all from suffering/pain previously! But it's nice to have a bubble of people who understand each other!
All my fingers and toes are crossed for everyone on the thread! 🤞🏻💕

Just caught up on everything... can't wait for everyone to have their dating scans and hopefully we can all relax a bit, I'm just past the point when the last pg stopped progressing so feeling a bit more nervous.

@bubblybon20 @ew1990 you are not alone, I was going to do my scan next week but think I might just do it at the weekend at 9w1, it's only been 9 days since my scan but not sure I can wait another 12 🙈

I hope everyone hasn't melted too much in the heat.

I'm feeling more relaxed today, I think I built up a lot of adrenaline yesterday with everything and just crashed out last night! But I've really struggled to concentrate on work today, not sure why.

Good luck for your scan tomorrow @ew1990, I'm feeling poaotive about it for you as the bleeding was slight and stopped.

I've got my next scan on the 24th where I should be 7 1/2 weeks. The timing is so similar to the scans I had last time (first scan showed egg sack and yolk, follow up showed a tiny baby but no heartbeat, but they wouldn't confirm miscarriage until a third follow up scan in case it was a late bloomer!) that I think I'll be quite anxious about it when it comes round.

I hope you get a positive result tomorrow @Wishful30, these tests can mess with our minds, especially with different brands which pick up hormones differently.

@bubblybon20 I've not allowed myself to think beyond my next scan yet, but if I 🤞 make it to a good 12 week scan I might pick up a babygrow or something. With my daughter it was fathers day when I was around 15 weeks so I got my husband a few baby clothes from the bump.

@bubblybon20 @ew1990 totally with you on worrying again not long after scans...... i actually freaked out a few hours after my scan on Sunday because I had a tiny trace of blood (I think!) And I've never had it before. So you are not alone!!

I'm so pleased we all have each other. It is very difficult for other people to understand so well xx

With DD I bought a few Things after my 12 week scan. The day after I bought a travel system that was barely used from my friend for very very cheap and she couldnt save it as no room. So it went to my mum's mums until I was due 😂

I might buy a couple of babygrows but I think I'm gunna wait untill the 20 week scan
