Was having this conversation the other day with someone who had experienced similar, i cant seem to go into Labour naturally, ive always had to be induced. the second time was like with tne tampon like thing that was inserted? and we were wondering, why couldn't women insert these at home, granted say the rule is, not until youve reached your due date etc, maybe only with subsequent pregnancies etc. Rather than some going fully 2 weeks over and having some very large babies and difficult births, as result?? xx

I’d imagine because (a) the meditation cannot be self administered and (b) you would need to be monitored after being given the meds.

They have to monitor the baby to check it doesn't become distressed
