Just that really....

unfortunately I've had 2 miscarriages this year one at 5 and a half weeks in February and one I found out at 9 weeks that the baby had stopped growing at 7 weeks which I had a d&c for 2 weeks ago

I know everyone is different but I thought hearing some success stories might be helpful

Or and tips going forward for a fresh start ttc

Thanks 🙂

Two MC. One late one early. Broke my heart in pieces. Holding my baby girl in my arms while she sleeps now.

I am so sorry for your losses and wish you the very best Thanks

Also my tip would be to remember that just because it didn't work out before doesn't mean it won't next time. Also try, where possible, to enjoy every moment from the positive test and don't let fear rule you and block you from enjoying your future pregnancy.

Hugs to both of you. Miscarriages are awful.

My story is the same as @roxfox in that I've had two miscarriages. One was around 8 weeks and the other at 4 weeks.

My 8 month old baby is currently asleep next to me.

@BabyDust13 Im sorry to hear about your miscarriages, it's so hard. I had a miscarriage early 2019, and then took almost a year to get pregnant again (temping, OPKs, vitamins etc) - currently in the induction ward, waters broke 24 hours ago at 40 weeks and just waiting to be examined before being induced. All going to plan will be holding the baby tomorrow! Don't lose hope x

@BabyDust13 so sorry you've had 2 miscarriages in a year, they are difficult to move on from. I had a MMC in december last year, just like you I was just over 9 weeks and found that the baby had stopped growing around 7 weeks. It had taken a while to conceive initially so I just thought the same would happen again as I am 40. I didn't require any medical or surgical management and my period returned within a few weeks of stopping bleeding. To my surprise I fell pregnant the following cycle. I am now 29 weeks pregnant today.

As I wasn't expecting to fall pregnant again so soon after, I think I was more relaxed and didn't even think about ttc. I hope this helps and things work out for you.

@BabyDust13 OMG baby dust! I'm so sorry to hear this!! I'm sure we were in the same TTC group on other thread! I've had 3 miscarriages, one last August, one last October and one this February, each time getting further along, laat one was at 10 and half weeks when baby had stopped growing at 9 and half weeks

I am now 16 and half weeks with a little boy, so it does happen, I can't say that the anxiety ever goes away or the stress really!

Sorry to read of your mcs Thanks. I had a mmc last April and fell pregnant in December again. I'm now 34+2 and baby is currently wriggling around kicking DH in the back in bed from my belly!

Every pregnancy is different, the odds are in your favour. You will be nervous and anxious but your baby is waiting for you.

Hi just wanted to share my story. Two early miscarriages, one last year and one this year. Currently 8+4 and had a scan last week & this week due to spotting (panicked!) and all looks perfect....saw heartbeat twice and it was so reassuring to see growth in between the two scans!! 🥰 I read a lot about baby aspirin and started this as soon as got my BFP. Not sure if it's helping (I haven't got passed 8 weeks before) but I will keep taking it. Have my midwife booking appointment today! Good luck OP, it's so hard but please stay positive! I also attach a pic I saw last week which I really liked!

I had dd1, then tried for a second. All went well until i went for my 12 week scan to find i’d had a MMC at 9 weeks and my heart just broke.

However, took a few months off ttc to recover, then got pregnant with dd2, currently 8mo and feeding in my arms. All you can do it remember that every pregnancy is different.

Flowers for you, it is very hard and i’m sorry this happened to you.

I had a late miscarriage and decided to wait a while before trying again because I didn’t feel ready then my next pregnancy was a chemical pregnancy and I thought about not trying again but we decided to keep trying and I got pregnant again 2 months later and now have my almost 2 year old daughter sat next to me watching cartoons and I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant with a little boy.

Sorry you've gone through this @BabyDust13. I had 2 MCs last year, one at 8 weeks in March and one at 10 weeks in July (that one was a blighted ovum). Found the second one really hard to come to terms with, felt that my body had been tricking me into thinking I was pregnant when in reality there wasn't a baby there. We started trying again in November and I was lucky enough to fall pregnant straight away. I am just back from my 38 week midwife appointment and my pregnancy has been absolutely text book so far.

Give yourself time to recover physically and mentally, you will know when the time is right to start trying again. In the early stages, I found mentally ticking another day off as I went to bed each night helpful, being quietly thankful that baby and I had got through another day together. I also went for 2 early scans (6 weeks and 9 weeks) which were really reassuring, especially given the blighted ovum - just knowing there was a baby there with a teeny heartbeat really helped me to stay positive. Good luck to you x Flowers

I had 2 miscarriages before DD, one of them was a mmc at 10 weeks and the other a spontaneous mc at 11 weeks. Then I had DD!!

Just found out I'm pregnant again, but the old fear seems to have come back as over the last week I've started to feel petrified again.

Thanks to PP for that picture, it's great and I think sometimes we all need that reassurance.

I had an early miscarriage in February last year which was absolutely heart breaking. Got pregnant again 2 months later and now have a 6 month old DS.

I found this website helped calm my nerves second time around and would look at it pretty much every day

Hi op, I’m so sorry you’ve had two miscarriages. I know it’s horrendous.

I had three miscarriages in 2018 - at 6 weeks, 12 weeks (a missed miscarriage) and 9 weeks. I felt such grief. After the third I had NHS tests but no problems were found so I was not advised to do anything differently when TTC. I then got pregnant and had DD at the end of last year. I searched out lots of positive stories when going through my mc so am glad I can pass mine on now.

Wishing you all the very best Flowers

Four miscarriages followed by Dh cancer diagnosis. A year after all clear 1 round of IVF with his frozen sperm and now 28 weeks pregnant.

It's a tough road and sometimes it feels like it will never happen but keep head up and stay positive even when you feel completely lost - stay positive. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’m so sorry to hear that Flowers

My story - I had a perfectly healthy DS, then a mmc when he was about 20 months old. With hindsight it was a strange pregnancy, something felt ‘off’ right from finding out - sickeningly horrendous nausea (signed off work and on medication from 5 weeks, could barely move or eat, the nausea would wake me up at night) for a month. I was like a robot, lying still in bed trying to read or watch tv trying to take my mind off the constant queasiness. I felt totally useless and barely saw DS, DH did everything for all of us. Because I’d been so unwell during that pregnancy, we had to tell everyone sooner than we’d liked as I was housebound with the nausea unable to work or socialise - so obviously we had to tell everyone what happened. My MIL, 3 of my friends, a couple of colleagues, all said they’d also been through it - but they’d also all gone on to have children.

All the best for the future Smile

Hello everyone. I'm 36, and just had my first miscarriage after trying for baby no3. It came as such a shock, as I was told there was a heartbeat at 8 weeks after some blood loss, to then be told a week later after some more light bleeding that there was no heartbeat anymore. I was in disbelief and felt so naive to it too. I'm worried to try again. I now have to wait to do the cruel thing of getting a negative test result and wait for my period again. I was so regular before, I'm worried I won't be now. I just don't know what to do and when to try again. I love all your success stories, it's given me hope and comfort thank you x
