Pregnancy

No symptoms and high anxiety!

Hi all,

I'm not entirely sure of the point of this post; I think I'd like a bit of a kick up the bum really.

I am 6+2 with first pregnancy. As the title says, I have zero symptoms but seriously high anxiety as a result.

When I say no symptoms, I mean none! No breast tenderness, no nausea, nothing! If it wasn't for the positive pregnancy test and lack of period, then I wouldn't think I was pregnant.

I know every pregnancy is different, but I have got myself into such a funk about this. I have got it into my head that there is something wrong and that when we go to our early scan next week then it will confirm my worst suspicions.

I just feel so totally ridiculous and ott for feeling this way. There are people going through so much worse, yet I can't even make it to 6 weeks without getting myself in such a tizz.

I suppose I just want a bit of reassurance that others have felt the same?

Thanks all...

I had zero symptoms right until 8 weeks, then suddenly one evening I felt a bit burpy and the next day all day nausea kicked in...!
Make the most of the time now without symptoms - long may it continue :)

@TH22 I’m 6+4 with no noticeable symptoms and I’m also finding it unnerving. I think it’s mainly because with my daughter I had quite strong symptoms by this point and so I guess I was expecting to feel similar with this pregnancy. I think we are still on the early side for the strongest symptoms and I also know of several people who went through T1 without any strong symptoms. I’m hoping to go for an early scan around 9 weeks but that feels a long way away at the moment. I’m sure we are worrying over nothing!

I had zero symptoms until about week 12 when I experienced breast tenderness for about a week but other than that, nada! Appetite was the same, no aversions or cravings, no nausea, sleeping really well.

Even now at 27+2 the only symptom I really have is him kicking to let me know everything's OK in there

Hi op.

I am 6+2 today also! I was exactly the same up until about 5 days ago. I have had quite severe nausea since then, HOWEVER today I’ve had nothing. My boobs aren’t sore any more. No nausea. I’m not even bloated any more which is worrying (progesterone).

I am worried sick and spent the first half of today googling.

Basically what I’ve read, no symptoms at all, symptoms starting at 4 weeks or 8 weeks, symptoms coming and going, are all totally normal variations.

It doesn’t stop the worry though does it. I’m dying to book an early scan but this early there really isn’t much point. I think around 8-9 weeks is best if you are going to do it.

I will (hopefully!) look back and wish that I took advantage of the no symptoms! Thank you for your response :)

I hope (and am sure!) we are worrying over nothing too!

God Dr Google is the absolute worst. I have been reading post after post to try and make myself feel better. My husband says I need to step away from my phone.
I am sorry you're going through this too though. The anxiety is something else isn't it!

Hi OP, I had no symptoms with either of my kids. Like you I found it quite worrying but all was well. Is hard when you don’t have bump yet or kicking baby to prove its there.

Hi all, I just want to say that I had an early scan today. There was a perfectly flickering heartbeat and I was measuring exactly on track.
Still absolutely zero symptoms which I find weird. So I'll either be one of the lucky ones that doesn't have any or it'll hit me like a brick wall shortly!
Thanks for all your reassuring messages :) x
