Do you need anti colic bottles from the start?

Just that, really? I've posted recently about what kit you need for bottle feeding, but I'm just wondering if it's best to start with the anti colic bottles. They look much more faffy, with lots of bits to clean and sterilise. I found the MAM ones quite a pain when I had my (bottle refusing) son. Just wondered if any experienced bottle feeders had any insight they could share.

I used normal until about 8 weeks when she really started to suffer with colic and reflux..... they seemed to have helped a bit to be honest, i would have started then at the beginning if i could do it again

We used normal bottles from the start and DS never had colic so never needed them

DD1 was breastfed and had horrendous reflux.

When I had to stop bf dd2 after 2 weeks I went strait to anti colic ones just to save on possibly having to buy them anyway as she was already showing signs. She never had any colic but was still a pukey baby. We got the tommee tippee ones. After bf the whole bottle feeding and cleaning was a faff anyway so the fact there were extra bits to it wasn't any more if a hassle iyswim

I've bought the tommee tippee anti colic ones to begin with. I'm pretty heartburny as a person and my nieces and nephews were all very colicky so I figured may aswell start with them to save me maybe needing to get them a few weeks in!
