First baby - Was 39+5 Had my appointment with midwife and attempted stretch and sweep she couldn't even reach my cervix. I am now 40 weeks and am wondering did anyone still go into labour with cervix being so high? How long did it take for you ?
I am book for induction 11 days later.

I had a sweep as often as the midwife would allow but alas I had to go in for induction at 42wks. I think I would have gone into labour naturally following the sweep the doctor gave me the night before my waters were broken (I think she also found my tonsils whilst she was there but that is another story 😂)
I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Can you ring and ask for another sweep? Never heard a midwife sound so excited when you ask for a sweep 😂
