hi everyone,
I went in for my 6 week ultrasound(transvaginal). IVF, so I know the dates are accurate. Everything measured 6 weeks 1 day and there was a sac, yolk and fetal pole but no heartbeat. Im so worried and this week is crawling by. Any advice is appreciated. I have another ultrasound on Tuesday and its all I can think about. Trying my best to keep my hopes positive but im terrified. Anyone experience this? Should I have any hope?

I haven't got any experience, but didn't want to read and not comment, I've heard that sometimes 6 weeks is too early to see a heartbeat, I've everything crossed for you and hope all goes well Tuesday xxx

Like the previous poster, I'm sorry I don't have any experience of this but I'm sure I've also read that 6 weeks can be too early. Hope all goes well on Tuesday

Hi - try to stay hopeful, everything is measuring on track and you don’t always see a heartbeat until baby is measuring at least 7mm (which would be more like 7 weeks). Good luck.

thanks so much @Mingo2010 @Buns05
And @TenThousandSpoons0 I am really really hoping that's the case. My friends mum is an obgyn and she said since there is a fetal pole that's a good sign. I'll update after Tuesday.

@Mingo2010 and everyone else!
Just an update there was a heartbeat today! Baby is measuring a little small but the Dr. said it could be a day or two late implant which I didn't even know could happen with ivf! I'm so happy and have another follow up US next week just to make sure the baby is growing okay. Thanks so much for the positive thoughts and prayers.
