13 week scan - unable to do down syndrome screening?

So had my scan today and thought I was 13 weeks and 1 day but turns out I'm exactly 14 weeks. Everything was fine except the babys position wasn't ideal and sonographer couldn't measure the fluid to check for down syndrome risk.

I've been asked to go back on Monday for another scan to try. If not they'll do a blood test screening instead.

Question is, is the blood test just as accurate?
