I had a scan the other day im 14 weeks +2 and was told babys fluid at back of neck was 4.4mm when is meant to be 3.5mm. Was also told was very late for 12 week scan as they didn't book it on time. I've been referred to Oxford for second opinion but I'm scared something might be wrong with my baby anyone had this and been told all is okay????

Isn't there a cut off for NT measurements because it grows as the baby does anyway? Have you had your combined screening results back yet?

I had my dating scan at 13+6 and was told that was the cut off for the combined screening as it's not accurate after 14 weeks.
There is another 'quad test' they are meant to do if you are scanned later.

Hi OP,
I was in a similar (ish) situation a while ago. I also had my 12 week scan when I was 14+3, my NT measurement was 'normal' but they weren't sure as I was later for the scan if it was normal for 12 or 14 weeks.
I was sent for further screening and agonized and googled my way through the 3 weeks after, to be told everything was absolutely fine!

As hard as it is try not to worry, even if your NT measurement is a bit higher it's still just a soft marker of trisomies. Doesn't actually mean anything is wrong! Is it an option to get the testing private? Sometimes speeds up the results and gives you peace of mind xx
