Hey Ladies

Curious to see what your resting heart rates are? I havent checked mine for months was always around 55-65 pre pregnancy. Checked the last few days and it's anything from 90-110!!!

Is this normal? Anyone else have this ?

I have text a few of the midwives waiting for a response has worried me x

Hi
Not exactly the same situation but I am ttc and have noticed my resting heart rate is often 90-105
I was diagnosed with tachichardia when I was young and i am concerned about the high heart rate, so... following this!

Mines 90- 100 I'm 25 weeks. Was 140 at resting a few weeks back and that was after cooking a big meal for family! Doctor monitored me and was happy for me to leave hospital at 97-100 so I think it's kind of normal!

I'm 30 weeks and I'm usually in the late 70's, early 80's for bpm.
If you're worried have a chat with your MW

Pre-pregnancy my RHR was 59bpm on average.
Now at 23 weeks: 64bpm in June and 67bpm so far for July...

So definitely an increase but not a crazy one. Even on days where all I do is some walking my HR can easily hit over 125bpm at times though, probably just from a single flight of stairs 🤔

Is it literally just the last few days?

My normal heart rate is around 70.

Once I got pregnant it went up to 90. It’s now hovering between 90-110 just sat on the sofa!

All within normal possibilities according to my midwife x

Interesting! Just had a look at my stats and I’m currently at resting rate of 83 average for this month, 26 weeks pregnant. Pre pregnancy it was around 60-65. It’s slowly climbed, had a spike in the first month, then down a bit, back up again last few months.

Yes it's normal. Your heart has to pump a lot more blood around than normal - can't remember the stats but I believe it's almost 50% so it's got to work harder not to mention the extra stresses on it having to grow a little human

Thanks everyone,

No I havent checked it in months apart from the past few days. It was down in late 70s early 80s when resting last night then as soon as I get up even to go to the loo shoots back up to around 100bpm. Will keep an eye on it I have text a few midwives but no response yet.
