Is this isofix?

I have a 54 reg 3dr VW Polo - with no frills! I'm about 21 weeks along now, a FTM, and fretting over cars/car seats and all the rest for when baby is here. I've cottoned on to the the idea of isofix - I've found these 2 red loops in the rear seat - is that what the isofix points are? There's no labelling, and I want to be sure!

Also, I've been wondering how seriously I should be thinking about trying to switch my 3 door car for a 5 door - there's the possibility that grandparents' cars (of similar ages to mine, but 5 door) might be being passed on. Does isofix (assuming I have it) make 3 door less of a pain? Or is 5 door still a much easier bet? Really don't have much idea what I've let myself in for!

Looks like it might be, but you can take your car to a shop (e.g smyths toys) and they’ll check for you

Yes that’s isofix. A 3 door will still be a pain though imo!

If you can change to a 5 door it will make life much easier. But you’ll manage with a 3 door too!

I had a 3 door with my first and managed 2 years with it before getting a 5 door and it was fine. If you don't mind climbing in and out the back to buckle the baby in then its perfectly fine imo

I found putting kids in and out of seats in a 3 door car easier than a 5 door - because the front seats roll forward so you can get in the back in front of the car seats whereas on a 5 door you have to reach over From the side.
