Less than 2 weeks after ovulation pregnancy test came back positive displaying 1-2 weeks pregnant which would be correct
3 days later test is displaying 3+ weeks ( I have tried 3 different test just to confirm all cane back 3+ weeks) how can there be such a high increase in hcg level over 3 days totally missing out 2-3 weeks so just wondering could this be the sign of twins please can anyone share any experiences On this subject !
I totally understand THERE IS NO WAY OF NOING UNTILL AN ULTRASOUND OR BLOOD TESTS but I’m just hoping someone with similar hcg increase can shed some light on this
Many thanks

I'm pregnant with twins - I got 1-2 about 3 days before period was due and 2-3 the day before period. Then didn't get 3+ until around 5 weeks pregnant.

I've read a few posts from women who've got 3+ really really really early and it didn't match up with what the blood tests were saying and seemed like yoi just have naturally high hcg levels in your urine which the test is reacting to

Thank you for that
How early was your twin pregnancy detected ? Was it through bloods or ultrasound
Ps congratulations on your double bundles of joy 👶🏽

Also any brown discharge / pink bleeds ? I read with multiples bleeding / spotting is more common

I’m expecting twins, but didn’t get that with clear blue tests. However, I did with my singleton pregnancy - the date progression made no sense! Remember, only blood tests give an accurate measure of how HCG levels are changing, your urine levels fluctuate so those week predictors are not accurate.

I had one streak of brown mucus at 13dpo, no other implantation bleeding.

I did have HORRENDOUS morning sickness, and had a bump at 10 weeks (only obvious to me/when naked at that stage), so wasn’t totally surprised when they said twins at 12 week scan.

I did IVF and transferred 2 embryos so twins was possible but unlikely (according to the clinic 🤣) I had a hcg blood test at what would have been 13DPO and it was 159 which was a good number but could have gone either way in terms of being a singleton or twins. I had a scan at 6 weeks which confirmed 2

Also I haven't had any spotting or bleeding at all 🤞

Also blood tests won't tell you for definite either as I know loads of people who have had higher hcg than me and just had one baby

I've had a noticeable stomach since about 7 weeks which is definitely not a food baby but had no obvious other symptoms - not feeling sick etc. I am tired more tired than usual but I'm 5 years older than when I last had a baby x

I'm pretty sure thrush is fairly common in any pregnancy, whether singleton or more.
