Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone has or has had any of the iCandy prams? Particularly the iCandy orange?

I’m expecting my first baby in November and have been researching prams for a while! Many of the shops selling prams are open now by appointment only so partner and I are going to go and see some prams but it’s always good to hear from people who have used it Smile

I had an icandy cherry 11 years ago. I Loved it. Really easy to Manoeuvre but the hood was awful. Not at all adequate. Although that could have been changed now. I dont know any others im well beyond prams.

Hi
My friend had an I candy orange it was so lovely to push but it is what I thought a rather large pram. She then bought a baby jogger mini gt when her son was abit bigger and used that instead.

I went to see prams last week and looked at the new Icandy peach 3... not sure if the orange is the same, but I didn't like the fold. Convienant and one handed yes, but I thought for the price the mechanism could be better (instead I'm if hitting the handle against the frame to trigger the fold). X

I have the peach after having the peach jogger 8/9 year ago. I discounted the orange as it was just too big and the peach was big enough.

They have made some good improvements to the peach.
EG. One frame that everything zips into. Rather than separate seat and carrycot unit.
Bigger seat unit and carrycot. Carrycot did until DD was near 6 months this time.
Much bigger pram basket.
Recline button being on the seat unit rather than 2 fiddly buttons you had to press at the same time on the older model.

Downsides are it is big and heavy if you have to pull it apart but I manage no probs.
Also the new design of the footmuff is crap. It used to zip into the seat unit so it was secure and it doesn't now so the top constantly flops down which really annoys me.

Otherwise I love it and it'll be the only pram we need until DD starts walking.

@AC1991 also due in November, we just got the icandy peach, and absolutely love it! Well made and sturdy. Feels premium quality. Love how easy it is to fold, we discovered that you don't have to slam thr handle down, if you push it so its not extended and then push gently a little more it folds easily. Also comes with the adaptors to raise the carrycot/seat up and forward or back, and adaptors for carseat and also a raincover. So we were pleasantly surprised as we thought we'd have to buy those separately. Cant wait to use it!

I've got the Peach. It's lovely to manoeuvre and is nice and sturdy. Downsides are it's pretty heavy and now DD is 1 she could easily go in a much lighter and smaller pram - but I can't bring myself to buy another pram when we spent so much on the Peach!

I've got the peach and I love it. It's quite bulky though. Baby no 2 on the way so we've bought the converter to make it a double. Only downside would be I think it's going to be a tight squeeze to fit it in the car as a double (we've got quite a big car/good size boot too).

Thank you for the replies everyone! Although we will go and have a look at prams it’s good to know in advance Smile

I've got a peach and it is sturdy and great to push. With practice you get much smoother at folding it. But it weighs a ton!

I work in a pram shop and the Peach is probably our 2nd best seller after Egg.
It’s lovely to push & very luxurious compared to the Orange. I love the Orange though if you are planning to have 2 close together or this is a second baby as its really cheap to convert to a double & has the built in buggyboard.
I’d say the Peach is more popular for first time parents. The fold is more compact than the Orange too.
Hope that helps?

Thank you that’s so helpful! I’m liking the look of the Venicci prams too and will need to have a look at the Egg as well. There’s just too many choices!

They're lovely, but everyone I know who had one changed it for something smaller later, so it's worth considering that you'll probably do that.
