Did B6 help you get pregnant

Hi

I’ve been 10months ttc and have just started taking B6 100mg a day to see if that helps after some advice and research but just wondering from those who are pregnant do you think this helped. I’m trying everything just now lol.

I can’t comment on B6 but I started taking Myo-Inositol after trying to conceive for 2 years after a mmc and now 16 weeks pregnant. It’s used before ivf and for those who have PCOS (which I don’t have but felt there was something not working properly). We also started using Pre-seed. I don’t know if any of it made any difference but all good so far. Good luck!

I don’t know if it had any impact @Timetotry123 but I was taking b6 for about 6 weeks before ttc, & we got our bfp on first cycle.

Oh well I hope it can help, I have been referred to the fertility clinic but still hoping that I can get a bfp before I get my appointment. I didn’t want it to mess with my cycle but thought I have nothing to lose. I do spot 4/5 days before af so hoping it helps to reduce that and give the little bean time to stick lol.

Is myo-inositol a prescription medication or did you buy it somewhere?

I conceived the first month using it after 4 months trying before. Not sure if that helped or it was just my lucky month.

But what is your reason for taking it? Mine was to try to lengthen my luteal phase and prevent spotting

You don’t need a prescription for Myo-Inositol... I just order from Amazon but sure you can get it in Holland and Barrett.

Great thank you.
It’s to stop or delay my spotting as I’m not sure if that’s the reason the eggs not getting to attach itself. I’m no doctor so I don’t know but I figure if I spot 4/5 sometimes 7 days before it’s not getting a chance before my hormone levels drop.

Did you take it every day or just after ovulation, I started it CD2/3 hoping it doesn’t mess with ovulation.

@timetotry123 ok that was the same reason as me!

Just to give you some peace of mind I would spot 4/5 days before AF and the month I conceived I still started spotting at the usual time but it then tailed off instead of AF arriving so don't lose hope! Obviously that's just my experience though...

It made no difference to my ovulation day :)

I took B6 every day but only 50mg (that's all Holland and Barrett had when I purchased)

Good luck!

Ah really ok I’ll try not to get disappointed when I see the spotting starting. It’s so disheartening every month. It was Holland and barratt 100mg I got oh I hope this isn’t too much.

I was taking b6 alongside other vitamins to lengthen my luteal phase. I believe I started them November/December and got bfp Jan. I had been ttc since August.

Not sure if it helped or it was just our month.

Oh maybe I should have started them sooner.
