Where did you get your Moses Basket?

So I’ve bought a snuzpod 3 for baby, but my Mum had kindly said that we can stay with my parents for the first couple of weeks so she can help me as I’ll mainly be on my own due to partners work and I’m thinking about a Moses basket just for her place. Which would stay there for Christmas visit too - baby isn’t due until October so this should still be fine in December.
Any tips on where to get a lovely one from?

Our baby outgrew Moses basket within 4 weeks so we picked up a cheap second hand swinging crib online for £15 and bought a mattress online. Babies grow very quickly so a Moses basket might not last too long, or fit when the time comes. Good luck.

Bought one from Asda a couple of weeks ago for £23. Had to buy a new one as ds had slept in his for 7 months and it was wrecked.

Dragons of Walton street - it’s beautiful but DS1 didn’t use it and I doubt DS2 will!

Tbh the snuzpod we found was pretty easy to transport. I'd save the money n take it round your mums. Carrycots from the pram are also fine to nap in. And depending on make for overnight (pah) sleeping too

You must have extremely strong muscles - I tried out the snuzpod in store and it was insanely heavy!

I agree to just use the Snuzpod! We have one and I don’t find it hard to carry, and I’m built like a twig and 37 weeks pregnant! If not there are always Moses baskets for sale on Facebook. Just get a new mattress

John Lewis. Can’t go wrong. Used it loads. In fact, I had one of those bedside crib things and my DS would only sleep in the Moses basket in the crib. I say sleep, “nap briefly” is more accurate.

I would absolutely take the snuzpod to my mum's. We used a Moses basket and swinging crib with #1 and he outgrew the Moses basket within a month and a half and was rolling onto his side (and into the sides in the swinging crib) by 12 weeks so ended up quickly moving to a cotbed. We are side-caring the cotbed this time and skipping the two middle men. I would absolutely not spend £100 on a Moses basket even if I was using it as babys primary sleeping place let alone for trips to my mum's.

The Moba Basket (Now Tommee Tippee Sleepee.) Is great especially if it will be sat around waiting at times it wipes down easily and doesn't attract as much dust etc

I just got mine secondhand from a friend and bought a new mattress. They're so expensive new for something which is hardly used.
