Intended to call the hospital before hand obviously, but just curious if anyone knows if things are starting to relax?

Does anyone with a scan coming up soon that their partner can attend with them?

My dating scan is week Monday, so the 6th July and on the south coast.

From the 6th July my area are allowing partners. Hope your partner can go with you!

All trusts are different OP. Mine are still saying you have to attend scans and appointments alone until further notice.

Will depend on where you are, sadly I was not able to take DH to my scan on Wednesday. All you can do really is right up the day before and ask.

All trusts are different. Some are allowing, some aren't. I think the majority is currently not allowing. I have two coming up in two different trusts and neither are allowing partners right now.

I had a scan yesterday and partners are still not allowed. Very strict in the hospital too, handing out masks at the door, sanitising peoples hands and only allowed to walk on one side of the corridors. For our own good though!

I have my 12 week scan on Monday in south Manchester. The hospital called me today to remind me about the no partner and no children rule in place (I must attend alone/husband is to wait in the carpark) and to ask if I'm displaying any symptoms of covid and for me to reschedule if I develop any symptoms prior to the appointment.

Maybe your hospital will get in touch with you to let you know what their rule is before your scan x

In London 12 week scan on Wednesday. Got a text today saying partner or one family member can attend! Over the moon.

Everywhere is different, from tomorrow my trust is making everyone wear masks and still must attend alone.

Mine is at 13 weeks on Thursday coming up which is the 2nd, my trust are allowing partners to scans from 6th!! Typical. We're gutted. That is East Suffolk and North Essex Hospitals.

My 20 week scan is on 6th July also on the south coast, and the hospital won't let my husband come. We paid for a private scan so he could see the baby as the private clinics are allowing +1s.

If anything I feel they have got tighter restrictions.
I no it's sad and it's nerve wracking without your partner but It's for our safety.

My hospital will screen your temperature on the door, make you sanitise your hands and hand you a mask. It's all set out very safely.

The Midwife’s and sonographers are amazing tho they will give you pictures to show partner. :)

Mine is tomorrow, and they still aren't letting partners attend.
I'm south east.
We've booked a private wellbeing and gender scan for 16 weeks.

Everywhere is different so you’re better off asking your own hospital the day before.

I hope they relax it as I have a scan on the 9th in Derby.
We did have a private gender scan where my husband could attend so I'm grateful for that but I feel so sad for parents who can't afford a private scan and mums have to do it alone ☹️
