14 weeks, no symptoms at all!

Hey, I just wondered if anyone else was or has been in the same boat, I'm 14 weeks pregnant and so far throughout I have felt completely normal. I've had no sickness at all, and I have kept really well. Whilst this is obviously great it makes me worry! All I hear from people is how awful they felt and I feel like something is going to end up being wrong! I have had 2 scans which are absolutely perfect and have been told there's nothing to worry about and it's great im doing so well. But just wondered if anyone has similar stories!

Not me, I felt horrendous but the majority of my friends breezed through with nary a symptom and I was so bloody jealous Grin
Unfortunately there seems to be an untrue narrative that if you feel well there must be something wrong. If your scans are good you have nothing to stress about. Enjoy!

10 weeks here and not a glimmer of sickness, constipation, heartburn, exhaustion or any of the classic symptoms really. I read about everyone else feeling so I'll and feel weirdly jealous! I asked my mum and sister about their experiences and neither of them had nausea (apart from my mum in her third pregnancy, me) so I'm hoping it's a genetic thing. My mum had so few symptoms with her first pregnancy that she didn't know she was pregnant until 20 weeks. Scan on Tuesday so will find out then I guess...

Oh thanks even these two messages are nice and reassuring, I actually didn't think to ask my mum what she was like so I'll do that! This was a wee (BIG) surprise for us so just trying to get my head around it, maybe someone up there giving me an easy ride since it's such a shock 😂 hoping it continues though although I do feel a bit like a fraud! Thanks for your replies 🤗

My first pregnancy, I had no symptoms throughout, the only way I knew I was pregnant was my growing tummy. I felt great.....roll on the second pregnancy and it was completely different, nausea for the first 16 weeks then continued heartburn upto now at 40+5 (but even then I count myself lucky compared to some). And both boys. Good luck and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy 😊

I was exactly the same! Felt great with no symptoms- I actually didn't feel pregnant. This stage of pregnancy is worrying because you feel fine but too early to feel kicks so nothing can reassure you! Enjoy it while you canGrin

I haven't had any nausea sickness or sore boobs symptoms and I'm 26 weeks! The only thing I got was headaches when I was dehydrated but that wasn't until after 18 weeks. As long as your scans are all okay then that's what's important ❤️ congratulations x

We tried for a while and nothing, so very sad thinking it was a no go.

I went to the docs over something he took bloods, called me back over my results and dropped in my "pregnancy"....,, pregnancy...what pregnancy !!!!!

I was 15 weeks without a clue and I had a great pregnancy, l absolutely loved it. 2 of my friends hated me for that as they were really sick with it, we fell very lucky.

Good luck and enjoy it xxxx

I’m nearly 13 weeks (nhs scan tomorrow eeek!) and I have had no symptoms at all. Like you I’ve found it worrying, but I had a private scan this week and it all looked good. Although these forums are great for advice, I don’t think they help in other ways - so many people going on about how sick they feel and what a good sign that must be and it just makes people like us feel more worried!! But by midwife assures me there really is no link between symptoms and healthy pregnancy so I’m trying not to stress. With varying success it must be said. Maybe when we start to show we’ll feel better?!

Thanks all!! I'm new on this site and like you say sometimes too much info can be overwhelming, we haven't told many people yet mainly because of the shock and we weren't ready for folks opinions etc. However it's actually nice to speak to other people going through the same thing at the same time! Also @longfox it's good to know you had two diff pregnancies and both boys; I've my heart set on a wee girl but obviously you get the whole oh you must be having a boy if you've not been sick 😅 but obviously I'll be delighted with whatever aslong as it's healthy!! Think I will feel better when I start showing properly and feel it move definitely 😊

Having no symptoms is really worrying! People will say you're lucky (you are in a way) but I think no symptoms intensify the worry, I hardly believed I was pregnant until my first scan. Once you feel baby move, hopefully you'll be able to relax a little and enjoy your pregnancy. I hope you get your wish.....I honestly thought I was having a girl as this pregnancy is so different, but over the moon to be having another boy 😀

@longfox thank you! I hope so too 😅 its not necessarily I don't want a boy but I'm struggling to think of a single boys name I like and Im an only child and have such a good relationship with my mum that I think i just envisage that for me! We aren't finding out as we would like a surprise so it's going to be a long wait until Christmas eve 😂 meanwhile I'll have to rack my brains for names!

I know exactly what you mean, it's perfectly normal to have a preference, I did with both of mine 🙂 but as you say, whatever the sex you'll be happy. Ah, a Christmas baby, how lovely, I'm sure you'll find a name that's just right! Also, like you, but for boys, we could only think of boys names we liked, so luckily we were prepared 😀

We’re the opposite - can’t agree on any girls names at all! Im hoping by December we’ll have come up with something, and like you it will be a surprise!

@Carabu1 good luck with your scan tomorrow! I have my first scan on Tuesday when I'll be 10.5 weeks, I'm very nervous! Can't wait to know one way or the other.

Lol @Carabu1 if you give me some of your boys names I'll give you some of my girls 😂 we have plenty of time to think about that so I'm sure we'll come up with something!! I was so surprised both at how clear and how much the scan looked like an actual baby, very overwhelming! Especially when it's your first and a wee surprise your hormones are all over the place. Hope everything goes well for your scans!

Hey sorry I know this post is old but how did your pregnancy turn out if you don’t mind me asking? 😅 I’m 14 weeks and I still have no symptoms. I’ve had 2 good scans and I’m still a paranoid wreck!
