I'm 6+3 and have been really off food for the last 5 days, can smell everything and its making me feel so sick. DP suggested something for lunch, which at the sheer mention of it made me heave.. its not so bad in the mornings, but as the early afternoon draws in, so does the headaches, tiredness and nausea. For 2 days, I ate nothing else but a portion of salty chips, then salted mash. Today I have had one of those cheap packet mac n cheese for breakfast 😳 and my dinner was a cheese and cucumber sandwich... not only that, but I needed it squashed like those sandwiches you used to get at school dinners that were flat as a pancake wrapped in cling film!! 😂 the thought of proper food or a meal make me feel so head spinningly sick. I didn't think id have this issue so early On?!

I’m 6+2 and cried today at how nauseous I feel! It’s been all day, no waves, just ALL DAY. I’ve eaten so much crap, I feel so guilty. I can’t remember the last time fruit or veg passed my lips and the guilt is killing me. All that helps is sugary crap!

BingerGiscuit I'm currently eating special K straight out of the box and drinking pints of lemon squash... am feeling the same guilt about fruit and veg but I cant even bear the thought of it never mind the smell or taste!

Ooh that sounds bizarrely delicious haha! I’m sipping sparkling water which pre-pregnancy I hated but right now I love it!

Just go easy on yourselves ladies, it won't last forever. I had awful sickness throughout the first trimester and the doctor said just to have whatever I could manage and not to stress too much about it. Something is better than nothing, just make sure you're not getting dehydrated.

I survived almost entirely on salty snacks and fizzy sweets for weeks and ended up taking pregnancy multi vitamins as I was so worried baby wasnt getting the nitrients she needed. I couldn't always keep them down but it made me feel less guilty taking them.

I'm 16 weeks but more and more I crave the food that I ate during my childhood. Weird, isn't it? Some stuff I haven't had or though about in 20 years.

Yup, your post sounds exactly like me OP. I didn't eat anything green from about a week after finding out I was pregnant until well into the second trimester - the thought of it could make me sick. I did eat fruit, but only if very juicy - watermelon was best.

I think my low point (but also high because it tasted so good at the time!) was when I dipped salt and vinegar crisps in a ready meal lasagne...

I'm craving potatoes and cheese mainly, and for yesterday's lunch I just had to have the same as you OP - a cheese and cucumber sandwich with a side of salty McCoys!

Most foods I usually love I'm off, which makes eating healthily difficult. Forced some satsumas down last night to keep the nausea at bay - really would have rathered some more crisps though.

Thank you @sel2223, that’s comforting to read. Might get some pregnancy multivitamins!
I’ve been living off the same, haribo tangfasfics and salt and vinegar crisps!
