No line progression with FRER but with IC

I’m 16/18 DPO depending on what app I believe. I’m so worried. We’ve been TTC for 21 months. My FRER was taking 2 days ago. So 48 hours between them. No progression. My IC on the other hand does show progression. I also had a positive clearblue ok the day of my missed period.

Has anyone else has similar and gone on to have successful pregnancies? Just what my mind to be set at ease. Please help.

I think there is a slight progression with your FRER tests. I felt like that too sometimes. Wait another 48 hours and do another and then compare the first and third test, i am sure you will see a clear difference x

Thank you. I asked my GP for my hcg levels to be checked 48 hours apart but she said all it would tell me was I was pregnant Hmm

I am 40 and had a m/c last year so anxious about keeping this one

Tbh I would relax on the frer and just enjoy yourself. You are Pregnant :) I’ve still to get a line on frer and I’ve been pregnant three time’s this year. And I was even getting 2-3 weeks on clear blue digitals. Frer for some reason never liked me lol so I’m not a fan. But ur clearly pregnant. So ditch the tests and relax xx congrats

Frer and clearblue have accurately predicted there were issues with all 6 of my non viable pregnancies. I would say at 16DPO FRER should be darker but like previous poster said they may not just work for you. I got a 2-3 weeks with clearblue at 13DPO this week and had my blood hcg levels checked the same day (IVF pregnancy) - clearblue 2-3 weeks starts at hcg 153 and mine was 159 so spot on. But everyone is different. My non viable pregnancies I didn't get 2-3 weeks until 17DPO but I am always very clear on ovulation dates - is there any chance you could have ovulated late by a couple of days?

For all three of my pregnancies I took FRERs daily from when I got my positive for about a week. Pregnancy one I had hardly had any line profession for about three days (It was a pale but decent enough line but didn’t get darker) and then suddenly it got loads darker. Baby 2 progressed like I ‘expected it should. Baby 3 I had a decent line on the first day- then a much much paler line on the second, and was convinced I was losing it. Following day line was similar to first day, and then gradually got darker in the following days (am now 23 weeks). I think you do expect line progression over say a week in most cases, but not necessarily daily/over 48 hours like you’re led to believe. Especially in the early days as hcg levels are so low, so a doubling still means quite low amounts initially. I know it’s a worrying time, and am not trying to give you false hope (I did also have a miscarriage before my first successful pregnancy and know how awful it is- hence the obsessive testing for my other pregnancies), but I’d try not to worry too much at this stage

I'm pretty sure it's not good news for me but clinging onto hope.
