Waxing in third trimester

Has anybody been for a wax in their third trimester?

I'm 32 weeks and I was thinking of booking in for a wax when salons can open again. I've usually waxed but with lockdown have gone back to shaving but I'm having trouble seeing/reaching Blush

Are salons happy to wax the pregnant? Ha!
Like when I have a leg wax I normally end up lay on my stomach which isn't practical/recommended now but I wasn't sure if they'd do it stood up etc.

There's nowhere open yet to ask but I'd start growing it out if I know there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Yep. I had a wax pre birth too. All fine.

I'm also debating the same! Also debating getting my downstairs area waxed but I'm worried it'll be itchy and growing back when I go into labour as I'm 35 weeks 😬😬😬

Hi I'm a waxer (and 33 weeks pregnant!) Yes by all means book in for a wax! Just a bit of advice though as even people who have been waxed for years can find being waxed whilst heavily pregnant slightly more uncomfortable, just due to the amount of blood flowing around the body. Try to have a (sensibly) hot shower as close as possible to going as this will help the follicles to open up and ease hair removal and also if you take 2 paracetamol it will take the edge off. All good waxers will know how to work round a bump so dont worry Grin

glad it's not just me!

Thank you @Thekindyoufindinasecondhand - I'm 33 weeks too so I was hoping to book in at around 37 weeks! I probably won't be able to move by then so the pain won't be an issue! Haha.
