Feel like I've done an abs workout. Is this normal?

Hi,

I just wondered if anyone is experiencing what can only be described as an abs workout feeling?

It feels like I've done a work out but i definitely haven't 🤣. I'm 6 weeks so hoping this is normal.

I had this! Felt entirely like I'd done 100 sit ups! I think this went away at some point in the early weeks - think it's probably muscles stretching to accommodate growing womb!

Definitely somewhere between 6 and 10 weeks, I think I had it on and off, but it went a few weeks before the second trimester began. I remember Googling it and finding some other threads/sites where people had felt the same.

I'm now two days away from my due date Grin

@NicJayne1 excited and also nervous, this is my first!

If you Google 'feel like I've done sit ups pregnant', you'll find loads of women saying they've had it too, so perfectly normal I'm saying! Enjoy your pregnancy 😁

@nicjayne1 I've been feeling the same too and put it down to the changes going on in my tummy. I'm 10 weeks now and still feel like this but not as much as in the earlier weeks
