How did your pregnancy's differ? If you had bad morning sickness the first time, was it worse the second time?

How did your labours differ?

Also, if you had a colicky baby first time round, was your second the same?

I had a dream pregnancy the first time. Mild sickness in the first trimester and tiredness but no major issues. Went over. Waters went at +10, drip given to speed up the process & born a few hours later. Dairy intolerance for baby but Otherwise he was great.

Second pregnancy was vile. Off sick the duration, constant vomiting and sheer exhaustion. Only went over by 3 days, perfect homebirth. Rough few months with reflux but he’s worth the constant sick smell

1st pregnancy I had morning sickness for the first 3 months.
Labour was 19hrs, stayed in hospital for 5days.
2nd pregnancy I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 5mths. No symptoms or morning sickness. Labour was very quick 40mins in total. We were home 6 hrs later.

Mine were very similar:
Morning sickness with both for first four months.
Big problems with water retention in later stages, so I couldn't wear any shoes, any rings etc.
Second labour was quicker -, but that may be because I knew what I was doing. Neither labour was all that long though.
First baby was 2 weeks overdue. Second baby was 2 weeks early.

First pregnancy I had some mild sickness early on but apart from that it was uneventful. I had a very long labour and then they realised he was breech so had an EMCS.

Second pregnancy I had horrendous sickness right up until the day he was born)@another CS).

Third pregnancy was amazing, I felt so good the whole way through. Also c section.

None of my baby’s had colic,

1st pregnancy with my son - no morning sickness, though I did pick up a stomach bug at one point. Felt tired and uncomfortable by 3rd trimester. Cried over stupid stuff now and then. Had cravings for stuff like rice pudding, mcmuffins and ice lollies. Overall it was a pretty easy and smooth pregnancy it was labour that was the 'mare.

2nd pregnancy (i'm 25 weeks now) - broke out in a rash like thing all over which has now cleared up, morning sickness up until recently, less energy! Found out this one is a girl x

First pregnancy morning sickness until 16 weeks . Pretty straight forward pregnancy though . Baby came at 37 weeks after 49 hours of labour ( 17 hours active ).

Only 17 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. No morning sickness at all. Bump showed up around week 10 or 11. I now look 22 weeks pregnant compared to my first pregnancy. So far pregnancy is easy and straight forward . I think I’ve put on more ( or about the same )weight as last time but I started a few kilo heavier 😬 ( can I blame lockdown ?). I’m hoping to at least hit my due date with a much quicker labour 😝

First, terrible sickness day and night for months. Labour started Sunday evening, gave birth on the Wednesday. Tried forceps, then ventouse, prepped for surgery, tried the forceps last time and luckily baby came.

Second, had slight sickness which disappeared early on and much shorter labour, told to stay home and have a bath decided to go hospital anyway and was 7cm! Just about got in the birthing pool and baby arrived minutes later. Dream labour and birth in comparison. Both girls.

Not had colic with either.

Just found out expecting our third and I would love a home birth this time all being well 🙂

This is my 3rd pregnancy but second baby. I'm currently 8 weeks.

1st pregnancy (ended in MMC at 12 weeks) - nausea but no vomiting.

2nd pregnancy with DD - vomiting started at 8 weeks and lasted til 15 weeks. Not too much in between nausea.

This pregnancy - nausea is definitely worse than last time and I have been vomiting on and off since 6 weeks. Sometimes I vomit up white foam and water. A lot more retching than in my second pregnancy. Boobs really hurt! I'm more tired but I have a toddler to look after this time, so that's probably why!
