Hello!
Congratulations 😁 I’m due 7th jan going by LMP
I have my booking in appointment over the phone tomorrow, looking forward to being given a scan date.

@Floulou20 congratulations!
I'm okay, I have a uti though so I'm weeing every hour😂 been hungry, cramping (which I got checked out), sickness the first 2 days which I think have subsided since I got the pregnancy vitamins, thirsty and a lot of backache. How about you?
Also, how old are you? Is this your first pregnancy?

Aw no! That must be a pain, I’ve been getting up for a wee quite a few times during the night which is a pain 😩
Quite similar really some sickness which has almost gone now, really bad fatigue a couple of weeks ago (which I’m glad for the lockdown so I could nap whenever haha)
I’m 28 and this is my first pregnancy all very new and exciting 😊
How about you?

Hi TTC24, Floulou20.
I am due 31st January 2021, going by my last period.
Having a worrying time at the moment, had some bleeding and clots on Saturday and Sunday. Phoned epu but was told that it's too early to get a scan. To monitor my symptoms and take another pregnancy test next week. If pregnant to phone back for a scan if negative I have had an early miscarriageConfused

Congratulations to both of you.

@TTC24 it really is the worst 😂 I’m glad I’m feeling a bit back to normal. Aw that’s lovely it’s all exciting even in these crazy times that we are in at the moment, I’m quite glad for lockdown as it’s been easier to keep a secret for now 😁

@Kirstyb00 I’m so sorry your going through this it must be such a worrying time for you, I know you automatically assume the worst with bleeding but I have also read positive outcomes when bleeding has happened so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞 You can book private scans from 6 weeks for reassurance, I think they cost around £70 😊

@Floulou20 I'm working so a few people know as do family and closest 4 friends. I can't help myself! I'm back at EPU tomorrow as left sided pain got worse and my anxiety is so bad. Hope you are well! X

@Kirstyb00 oh no sweet you are in my thoughts. Fingers crossed for you! Why will the EPU not see you? I rang my doctor, who rang the EPU who said not yet at first, then I went to A&E on the Saturday due to spotting and bad cramping. Had an appointment 2 days later but no scan, I'm 6w3d today, I'm back there tomorrow as left sided pain getting slightly worse but do think it is my anxiety.
On a lighter note, WE HAVE THE SAME DUE DATE!! Xx

Me too I told my best friend a few days after we found out and some family 😁 it's hard not to isnt it! Trying to stay quiet now till we have the scan.
Aw no I hope everything goes alright at EPU today let us know how you get on, everything crossed for you x

Kirstyb00 · 11/06/2020 12:51

@TTC24 yeah it's all exciting. I still feel pregnant, I have the tugging and pulling in lower abdomen, and shattered.

EPU said it was too early to have a scan, so I have to do a pregnancy test on Sunday when I am 7 weeks, and if it says pregnant I will be taken in for a scan and test, if its negative I have had an early miscarriage.

I have every part of me crossed and hoping for a positive test so I can get a scan to confirm everything is healthy.

Good luck today.

It's only me and my fiancé that know, we both promised not to say anything until at least 12 weeks.

Hi girls, congratulations to you all. I’m due 28th Jan 2021 per the NHS calculator! So currently 7 and a bit weeks I believe. First time and I’m 31. I’m majorly nauseous and I used to love my food so finding this really gutting. How are you all? I’m currently on furlough so I’m grateful for the privacy right now. My booking appointment is next week via telephone. x

@TTC24 so glad to hear your scan went well, I've seen many people coming back from scans not being as far along as they thought, seems very common. How did everyone take it!? I've told a few people and can't wait to properly announce it! X

@Countrygirlmummy hi! Sorry you're feeling nauseous, I've not really had it a lot, super tired and off my food like you though. I'm also on furlough which I'm quite glad about right now as I'd have had to tell work very early if I were to go back now. I'm still waiting to hear when my booking appointment is 😕x

@Pol96 today has been a bad day for nausea ☹️ Which leads to not eating much which leads to feeling awful as I have no energy.. not fun.. fingers crossed this soon passes. Reading your post above, I’m anxious too, what are you anxious about?

I’ve only told my parents so far. I think I’ll have to tell work when I go back, whenever that will be!

@Countrygirlmummy sorry to hear today's been bad for nausea. I definitely feel worse when I don't eat a lot. I've lost weight since finding out I'm pregnant because food is just not appealing. I'm anxious about pretty much everything.. 😂 So worried I'll get to my scan and something will be wrong etc and every time I go to the loo (which is a lot now!) I'm checking if there's blood, even though I've not had any at any point. I'm trying to stay positive but it's such a stressful, worrying time not knowing. What are you anxious about?
I've told my mum, 2 close friends and my dps dad. Going to tell my dad on father's day. And like you, I'll tell work when I go back but I'm thinking I'll have had my scan before then so will tell them when I've had the scan!

@Pol96 I’m losing weight too. My biggest fear is labour, pretty much the main reason we haven’t tried to have a baby prior to this year. (Together 14 years) Terrifies me!
Same though with the thought of something being wrong, feels like 8 months of wondering if your period is going to start.
I was hoping my timing of going back to work would be around my 12 week point but I think it’s going to be a few weeks before. Not got a date for my scan yet. Have you? Have you had your booking appointment? When is your due date? Sorry questions questions!!

Report
Pol96 · 12/06/2020 22:48

@Countrygirlmummy labour's another fear but that one can wait for now! I've been with my dp for almost 10 years and we just bought our first home and thought we'd start trying.. Wasn't expecting it to happen so fast!
I work in education and don't think I'll be back until September so will be about 20 weeks then! I've not heard from anyone. Chasing up my booking appointment on Monday and due 21st January going by lmp.

@Pol96 congratulations on your first house 🥳
I’m due back to work in the next few weeks as things start to open up again. Your due date is my hubby’s birthday! Didn’t plan on having a Jan baby, was hoping for a Oct/Nov baby but that didn’t happen! 🤣
Hope you get your appointment sorted

@Countrygirlmummy thank you!

@mcdbaby1 yep.. I still do one every now and then.. But I'm now having to dilute with water as there's too much hcg in my urine (hook effect) and I'm still waiting to hear about scans.

@Floulou20 same as my amazon order page 😂 and the waiting is horrible!

Hello ladies! Sorry I've been really busy with work the last 2 days as I'm a care assistant. Everyone took it so well, all so happy. Me and my DP have been together for 3 years, and we was trying in November-February and then we stopped as I got so emotional over it, and bam here we are! I'm about 6 weeks today, so not as far as I thought or as far as everyone else here. How's everyone coping? I'm so tired all the time and my body aches😂
Love to you all x

@TTC24 you must be shattered! I'm exhausted and I'm on furlough!

So.. I called the surgery to chase up my referral today.. And while I was on the phone to them the midwife called my mobile to do my booking appointment! Feels more real now.. But still so strange they don't confirm your pregnant.. They just take your word for it..

Hope you're all okay? X
