Hi..I'm 34 weeks and baby regularly has hiccups. Is this a thing? It must happen 4/5 times a day each time for about ten minutes. It just feels like little kicks but I can tell they are hiccups are they are so regular once every four seconds. Is this normal? Thankyou xx

Awwww those hiccups! Yep. Funnily enough I didn’t feel my twins have the hiccups until I had my steroid injections at 34w then for the next two days, I could feel them taking it in turns to have the hiccups!

Yes my DS used to get hiccups in my tummy all the time. I used to find it really annoying. Totally normal.

My baby has hiccups 4/5 times a day to! 32 weeks pregnant.
I had a scan 2 weeks ago and Doppler came back as normal.
Mentioned it to several Midwife's and they say completely fine. Apparently they can have it as often as they swallow.
Don't google it like I did! 🙈

Yep - DD had them constantly 😂 now she’s here she also gets them all the time (they’re a lot more irritating when they’re on the outside 😂)

I think the old wives tale says that if they have lots of hiccups then they will have lots of hair!

DS had loads of hiccups (and a good head of hair) as a baby and even now age 3 he gets hiccups if you make him laugh!

I did and my midwife said I'd have a windy baby - she was right!

I am 38 +2 and baby gets hiccups probably every time after I've eaten . I wonder if he can taste what I've eaten in the amniotic fluid ! Probably not but it makes me chuckle

My baby gets hiccups a few times and day, in particular seems to have them about 5am everyday! I hiccup quite a bit, even more so since I've been pregnant so guessed they take after me 😂.
