Question about calculating weeks

Hello!

I can't seem to find an answer to this question: If you say you're '6+2', for example, does that mean you've completed 6 weeks and you're 2 days into week 7? Or that you're 2 days into week 6, and have completed 5 weeks?

Thanks smile

I'd say 6 weeks and 2 days as in 2 days into week 7

It means you've been pregnant (or your last period more accurately for the textbook woman) since 6 weeks and 2 days ago. You will have conceived 4 weeks and 2 days ago. So 44 days since lmp.

They're completed weeks + additional days. So it's your first option: 6 completed weeks and 2 days for a total of 44 days.

Could you imagine saying how pregnant you are in days? Saying you're 280 days pregnant sounds much longer than 40 weeks!

Thank you!

Completed the 6 weeks , it's 6 and 2, not 2 into 6 weeks if that makes sense? X
