Ok so i have to admit i am a POAS addict. Eversince I have got a vvvfl i have tested every day. Im in fear that one day im going to test and the lines going to disappear or get lighter.
So my question... do you think i should keep testing until the line gets darker or is this enough line progression? I also took a digi at 10dpo which came back 1-2 weeks pregnant.

Can i stop testing now?

Line progression is not an accurate thing, these are qualitative tests and your urinary hCG level can vary according to all sorts of things like time of day, hydration etc! I would stop testing now rather than cause yourself unnecessary anxiety. All those tests can tell you is that you’re pregnant - congratulations.

I understand how you feel about the repeated testing OP. I tested loads of time before accepting I was pregnant in January. I’m now 24 weeks. In January 2019, I got a couple of positives, stopped testing and then had a chemical so I was really anxious to see the lines getting darker.

Congratulations Flowers

Thank you all. I had my beautiful daughter 9 years ago and i swear I was more relaxed then... the older i get the more anxious i get... explains the white hairs that seem to be appearing!
I have a privat scan booked on 4th july where i shall be 8/9 weeks pregnant and i think then i will be able to relax.

My DD is 6 and I took one test with her and then just accepted that I was pregnant. I didn’t worry that something would go wrong and I only had one scan with her.

I had a scan this time at 7/8w, 9/10w, 12w, 16w and 20w. I’m already thinking I’d like a scan between now and my due date in September.

Congrats OP! I know what you mean about worrying more, I had my son 20 years ago and never seemed to worry or expect anything to go wrong. This time around, all I've done is worry about EVERYTHING and I've still got 6 weeks to go.

Try to relax and enjoy, put the tests away and get a midwife appointment booked Smile

I only ever took one test. I don’t think line progression is an accurate metric of anything. A positive test means you’re pregnant. Congratulations!

I feel alot better today after hearing all your comments this morning. I think its me over googling and seeing all these line progressions and then your read about chemicals and it just puts the fear of god into me.
