I'm only 20 weeks! This isn't meant to happen yet πŸ˜‚. Had my 30 week scan 2 days ago and baby was wedged down low so I guess this might be my life now.

Time to get the tena lady out πŸ™ˆ. Who said pregnancy made you a glowing goddess?! I need a word with their manager....

This has happened to me a couple of times. I'm 27 weeks, so you're not alone. Grin

Yep - I am 20 weeks too! Sneezed and it went through to my leggings whilst I was out on a walk! Haha! Baby is constantly on my bladder!

I'm 22 weeks and really have to brace myself when I sneeze so I don't pee! πŸ˜‚
Doesn't help when you've got hayfever too! 😬😬😬

22 weeks and it's only happened the once. Luckily I laughed it off with my OH lol. May invest in tena lady just in case haha

I was fine during my first pregnancy, currently pregnant with DC2 and pee almost every time when I sneeze which is a lot as I have hayfever!
Need to start doing pelvic floor exercises ASAP!

Yep hay-fever sufferer here too! I found it hilarious the first time it happened because it was just me and the other half. Today I was at work and wondering if I can blame it on the dogs if it happens again and is any worse... Thank god I'd not long been for a wee so my bladder was empty-ish πŸ˜‚.

This has been happening to me from surprisingly early in this pregnancy too, and not just sneezing.. anytime I’ve been Ill with sickness (which has been almost all the way through) I get it then too! Only two weeks left for me, then hopefully it will go πŸ˜‚

I did have to break out the tena ladies I’m afraid, good luck!

Same here, has been happening to me since early on, and also a hay fever sufferer. Though I hopefully only have a few weeks to go now.
Sometimes if I brace myself I can stop it happening but sometimes I cant, so every time I feel the sneeze coming on it's like a 50/50 chance! It makes me so angry when it happens haha!

Get some modi bodi, pants or equivalent. Then just enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.

You've done well to make it to 20 weeks! From really early on when I was carrying DS every time I threw up (which was a minimum 2/3 times a day until he came) I wee'd GrinBlush

Always have a hoodie or cardigan with you then if it happens you can tie in round your waist till you get home! I’ve learnt this from experience! X

Pelvic floor exercises really work! I’m not sure for when you’re pregnant, but they do make a difference. I notice straight away when I sneeze if I haven’t done them in a while.

I sneezed whilst out for a walk at about 35 weeks and did more than just pee a little, I looked like my waters had broken and had to waddle back home along a busy road Blush

Luckily not when I sneeze ( so far) but have had a couple of incidents when being sick, which really adds insult to injury! :(

I recently discovered the NHS Squeezy app for pelvic floor exercises and am finding it really good. Helps keep me focused on doing my exercises every day which will hopefully stand me in good stead!

37wks here, and I have been very lucky in the pee dept, except one very embarrassing occasion where I felt super sick mid way through the pregnancy. Started rushing to the loo, didn't make that, and the force of the vom made me pee myself on the way too πŸ™ˆ

@BeHappyAndSmile

I second @Charles11 - are you doing any pelvic floor exercises? I have been using an app since the start of pregnancy (it builds you up to increase time doing them day by day) and haven't had any issues with sneezing/laughing etc - still going jogging with no problems.

Apparently doing the Kegel exercises before you give birth also helps with recovery after birth too - so win win Smile!

Sneezing I can manage (only 13 weeks, but with twins so they are already taking up a fair amount of space!), but I have β€œleaked” several times when I’m being sick Blush. I had that a few times with DD1 (although not till about 25 weeks) and had no trouble at all after she was born (except for the day immediately after when I felt like mY insides might fall out when I sneezed or picked something up!). Definitely recommend pelvic floor exercises, get started and keep them up!

@sunshinefordays @Charles11 I've been doing pelvic exercises for years but apparently baby just felt like playing with my bladder and making me uncomfortable for a couple of days πŸ˜‚. Luckily it was never very much (no one but me would have any idea) and he's moved now so I feel like adult nappies may not be my next step for a while haha. Thank you for the suggestion though, I like that everyone looks out for one another on here!
