Travel systems which one? HELP

I know this has probably been asked before but hours scrolling online through reviews I still don't know! I want a travel system which is light weight but covers all terrains. I like the ocarro but been told it's very heavy and the same with silver cross. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated!

I've been doing loads of research online and watching YouTube reviews and my favourite so far is the Bugaboo Fox2!

I think we are going with Fox2. To be honest I haven’t read loads of reviews because it’s all a bit overwhelming and boring but our friends who recently had a baby recommended Fox2 and Bugaboo generally seems a good, reliable brand. Thinking of getting a babyzen Yo-yo for travel / pottering about as have heard great things about them too.

I am looking for an all terrain travel system, and being doing lots of research.
Initially I swayed towards the Bugaboo Fox 2, it’s lightweight and compact. However have swayed away slightly because a) you take the pram seat off to fold (hence why it’s probably lightweight) and b) the pram seat moves as one piece. So when older they would have to fully recline with their feet up.
So my two at the minute are the Uppababy or the Ocarro. Yes the Ocarro is meant to be quite heavy, but can be made lighter if you take the seat off (just like the bugaboo). Have booked a one to one in store appointment so I can try lifting them.

I narrowed it to the bugaboo and uppababy.
Haaaaated the bugaboo in the shop! Didnt find it user friendly at all. So clunky!

Went for the UB Vista, with the Mesa I-Size car seat. Love it!

We've been really pleased with our Jane Epic. For a travel system it folds down quite compact and I can lift the chassis into the boot with one hand. It's coming to the end of a three year stint of being DD's chariot over all kinds of surfaces (rough tracks, woodland paths, narrow paths through fields).

Despite being rugged enough to handle country walks it turns on a sixpence with one hand and has a fairly narrow wheelbase so you don't feel like too much of an inconvenience with it in a shop/cafe (courteous to clean the wheels between country and town though Wink)

There are a couple of minor negatives about the pushchair seat: the straps aren't as substantial on it as some other pushchair seats but this doesn't matter if you have the Jane Matrix car seat as part of the system which lies completely flat as well as being able to be upright and has car seat standard straps.

Just wondering, what do you think will happen about looking at travel systems once the shops open?? I've seen lots in the news recently about how we're not going to be allowed to touch anything/how clothes that people try on will have to be quarantined for 72 hours before going back onto the shop floor etc...what's going to happen with travel systems? Surely the whole point of seeing them in store is to try them out/push them around etc? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Clemmie83 my local pram store (not a chain) are opening for one on one appointments. You have to select which items you want to trial prior to going. There will only be me, and two assistants in the store, one who will disinfect the travel systems I touched after, and prior to the next appointment. Which seems a good / safe way of doing things. Don’t know what the larger store will do.

@DressingGown87 That sounds like a good idea! It's one thing I really want to see and try out before I buy, most other things I'm happy to buy online but I feel like you really need to try a travel system!

@DressingGown87 the ocarro seat unit is a nightmare to get on and off in my experience. You wouldn't want to be doing that every time you folded it up
