Green Discharge - No Infection

Hi all

Hoping someone else could offer advice or relate.

I’ve had green snot like Discharge for over a week - I contacted my GP and have done UTI test and all genital swabs which check for thrush/BV and all STI which I knew I didn’t have.

All have come back normal and show no infection of any kind. My GP had no clue and has told me to just keep an eye on it.

Has anyone else had this? I’m 9w6 days.

Are you taking pregnacare? I had similar through my first pregnancy and all fine. My wee was also luminous yellow at times and I just put it down to the multivitamin I was taking!

Pregnacare has definitely made my discharge yellow - again, all swabs fine. Are you taking vitamins?

No only taking vitamin D and folic acid so can’t be that! Even my GP was baffled! I had a private scan Friday and eveything seemed well. It feels unsettling...

I think sometimes if your wee is very yellow or dark it can make discharge look greenish?

@Optimistic66 I have had exactly this since I found out I was pregnant, also had a swab and no reason indicated why it would be like this. I’ve just put it down to a pregnancy thing 🤷🏼‍♀️. When I’ve done some googling, there are photos on google that look similar...

I’ve had it on and off too - currently 18 weeks. A sort of vibrant green snot-like substance (lovely!). No smell, no discomfort. Had swabs done and no infection. Midwife has confirmed it’s just a weird pregnancy symptom. What a delight!

I had slightly off green mucus early on in my pregnancy. It was tested and it was thrush however when I had the appointment with doctor she said that pregnancy can give some people odd coloured mucus so green isn’t necessarily infection.

I've had this and actually had it today I had midwife today so I've done a swab so I'll wait and see but I see someone else has said if your urine is dark it can be due to that my urine is dark so I'm hoping it's that I've had it before and done the swab and never got a call from the hospital so assumed all was well I'm 36 weeks
