I crying about silly things

22 weeks pregnant and I cry while watching silly things. For example I was watching scooby doo with my son (5), I can't remember what happened but I cried. Who cries about scooby doo?? Adverts? Forget it, I cry at least twice a day because of an advert. Facebook, the military coming home videos? Use to think they were sweet but now it's the saddest thing ever. Writing this because I just cried watching Britain's got talent because of kids dancing.
I'm sure I wasn't like this with my first. I know hormones and everything but it's getting a bit ridiculous now. Is this normal??

I cried at a tree the other day because the blossoms were beautiful.

I also cried at a park bench because it had a dedication plaque on it.

If it’s not normal, at least you’ve got company!

I'm completely with you and feel for you! it's driving me crazy I'm so emotional I cried in the sweet aisle of Tesco when the OH asked if I wanted a happy hippo (my favourite choccy) but I cried because I wasn't happy so couldn't have one then had to try and walk out of Tesco eyes still streaming with tears!

It's all completely normal and I keep telling the family to keep everyone entertained during lockdown at least I'm spreading a bit of happy

I'm not preg as i'm 48 but i keep crying all the time too over ridiculous things! When something really sad comes on the telly or a sad sad song, i have to stop watching straight away. It's crazy but i really feel like i'm preg!
Congrats btw to all those expecting Flowers

OP you are sooooooo not alone.
I have been isolating for 10 weeks. Went to Sainsbury's for the first time in 10'weeks this week and cried!
I saw a baby and dog video on Facebook and cried.
I could go on, but you get the gist!
Hormones are crazy and lockdown is just making it worse in my book!
There is a thread on here about crazy meltdowns! You were feel normal by the time you've finished reading! You probably will end up crying with laughter when you read them! 😂😂😂

I actively chose to read the obituaries in my local paper. Sobbed my way through them. Why the fuck did I read them?! I never usually do!

I cried when DP shaved his beard off. He gleefully repeated the story to everyone, including where I sobbed into the pillow 'you don't look like the man I love' Blush

I also cried at the kfc ad when they reopened their stores

I cried in the bread aisle because they only had regular bagels instead of bagel thins and I didn't know if my DS would like them. Checked my app when I got back to the car and realised I should probably buy a pregnancy test! Lol!

This is the best thread I’ve read all day! I love hearing everyone’s crying stories haha. I have been crying at everything recently, I cried yesterday because my dog looked so cute whilst sleeping. I also cried because Rachel got off the plane 🤦🏼‍♀️

We were sat eating tea at the table last night, DS, who is 3 next month, leant over and squeezed a fart out. I welled up thinking about if I would love the new baby as much as I love him 😂

@Indigogirl88 i ended up crying at the little girl singing too 🙄

This morning my son was still in bed an hour after his usual wake up time, went in his room to wake him up but he was already awake. He said he was staying in bed longer so I could sleep more because he I thought I would be tired (I complain a lot about being tired) 🥺 I cried my eyes out. I can't do 18 more weeks of this.

I've just cried reading these comments haha. The smallest thing sets me off. I've been watching say yes to the dress this afternoon and I'm sobbing 😭 😭

Anyone else cry at the Pampers advert? Just balled my eyes out knowing that's going to be me in 4 months time! 😭
I think it's because I've just realised I'm having a baby! 😬
I know that sounds really stupid but anyone else felt like this and just cried!
Fuck me im gonna be a mom! 😭😭😭😭

Yep completely normal. In my first pregnancy I made chicken for dinner then didn't feel like eating mine. Then cried because I thought my portion would be upset that it wasn't wanted!?! HmmConfused
