How to make a 16 week pregnant lady cry

So I am almost 16 weeks pregnant and I thought I'd better buy some mat clothes off ebay. So far I had one yeah and then the next one has come and I put it on and burst into tears as I look huge already. It was skin tight and the material made me itchy and panic. Why would anyone design a dress like that

Welcome to pregnancy hormones OP!
When I put my first pair of maternity leggings on I felt disgusting, fat, ugly the lot! I was only 10 weeks at the time but was suffering with serious bloat! 😂
I now have a proper bump (nearly 22 weeks) and it's nice to wear tight(ish) clothing, but to be honest baggy is best as it's just so much more comfortable! Lack of underwear in lockdown too is a massive bonus haha!!!
Chin up and keep smiling! 😁😁😁

Don't let poorly designed clothes make you feel down OP. I do get it, but you're growing a human and I have no doubt that you look beautiful!

A lot of maternity clothes are crap. I remember looking at all this stuff modeled by thin women with little pert fake bumps and wondering how the hell those clothes would work for a real pregnant woman.

The best maternity wear I bought was a pair of jeans which was legging style at the top, and a pair of maternity leggings. I found the dresses really uncomfortable and unflattering, and just bought regular tees in a bigger size. I remember the feeling well though.
