@BabyG123 thanks for the new thread! I mothballed my fb account about 2yrs ago so I'm not on social media at all (feel so much better for it).

Hi girls!
I'm not on here too often now we've got the fb group.
Congratulations to you all!

Just to reassure you the FB group is private and it's not named January 2021 babies.
It's called lockdown girls and we've got questions in place to make sure people are joining from mumsnet and not randoms!
But can assure you it doesn't come up on your fb time line.
I'm planning to hide the group completely when everyone is in! X

@Pol96 well done for not doing a test this morning, it’s hard but I am trusting my body is doing what it needs to do. I have booked an early scan for tomorrow morning which I should be 7+2 as I wanted to check everything is healthy and in the right place.

My referral was really quick I was very surprised - I filled in a referral form on Friday, got a call that day and had a midwife call on Monday. I have now received appointments for my bloods at 11 weeks and scan at 12 weeks and midwife call at around 16 weeks. Xx

@Maybug2020 that is all very exciting! Let us know how you get on with your scan tomorrow. Is this your first? My nausea isn't too bad, I am 5+4 roughly. When did your nausea ramp up?

@pol96 - I’m 8 weeks tomorrow and my mid wife still hasn’t called me :(

@BabyG123 I'm not a believer in jinxing a pregnancy, but your welcome when ready!

Baba11 · 20/05/2020 12:55

@Carabu1 I would chase it up. You should have atleast been contacted at 8 wks. When have you booked your next scan for?

MayBug2020 · 20/05/2020 13:01

@Skyla01 congratulations! Yes this is my first - all very exciting but nervous at the same time. My nausea have ramped up in the last week and I have been told it’s worse at 9 weeks so fingers crossed it doesn’t get any worse as it’s hard to get going in the mornings. Is this your first? Xx

MayBug2020 · 20/05/2020 13:02

@BabyG123 looks like we are due on the same day - unless my scan tomorrow tells me otherwise.

I also have super bad issues with jinxing the pregnancy so I know where you are coming from on that xx

Skyla01 · 20/05/2020 13:23

@Maybug2020 my first also. I'm having a silly feeling like I want to feel more sick- worried that I am not feeling sick enough but I know that's stupid. I liked your comment from before- we do just have to trust our body & that it is doing the right things!

@skyla01 I’m the exact same I fret when I don’t have nausea or when my boobs aren’t hurting as much, i really appreciate this thread it’s nice to have other women to talk to this early on ❤️

Is anybody else super thirsty?? I’m drinking so much water and I feel so much more thirsty than usual x

Report
MissHoney85 · 20/05/2020 13:46

@peach111 I've been drinking loads for the last couple of weeks too. I'm not usually a big water drinker but I easily get through about 2-3 litres a day now.

I'm feeling a bit impatient to get more symptoms! I had some lower backache in week 4 but I'm now 5 +5 and it seems to have gone. I've got a fast heart rate, super greasy skin and maybe ever so slightly bigger boobs. But no tiredness, sickness or sore boobs. I've never wanted to feel ill before!

Pol96 · 20/05/2020 14:00

@Carabu1 that's a long time, are you going to chase then up? What area are you in if you don't mind me asking?

Report
inthestars90 · 20/05/2020 14:12

Hey all, I'm not on fb either so it's nice having here to talk about this on! I'm either 5+2 or 5+6 depending on the calculation. My boobs this week are another level of sore. Has anyone bought new bras yet? Seems too early to buy stuff but none of my bras fit now which isn't helping soreness.

I have also been weirdly hoping for nausea. I'm sure we will look back thinking you should have enjoyed it whilst you weren't nauseous !

@inthestars90 I have primark sports bras that I bought in a size bigger from before lockdown and they are so comfy and give you some support I used to just wear them in the house or under hoodies to lounge in. I’m so hot too, in the process of moving house and there’s so much to do but I just want to watch friends in my pjs😂 is anybody else on furlough?

Link to the Facebook group for anyone who would like to join. It’s called lockdown girls so no one will know it’s linked to babies and it’s a private group
